Hi Andrew,

The duct may not be blocked. The section going to a certain register may have come loose and the heated or cooled air is blowing into the attic or crawl space .

Sounds like you need to have the duct work cleaned by a professional.

Is your duct work in the concrete floor? If so check for water in the duct work. You can go to one of your supply grilles in the floor, take the grille up and look into the ductwork. If you have water, you need to find out if you have a plumbing leak or if it is just runoff from a hard rain. Nevertheless, it needs to be fixed.

Is your duct work in the ceiling? If so, and you still have mold, just have a professional duct cleaning company clean your duct work and it should solve your problem.

One other thing, make sure the condensate drain from your heater is not stopped up and dripping water into the duct work if the duct work is in the floor.

Centeral air conditioner

If cool air is moving through the duct work,(feels cool or cold) and the area outside the duct work is warmer/hot, then you will get condensation forming on the duct work. Wrapping the duct work with insulation should lessen, or eliminate that.

What is the difference between ducted roof air and non ducted.

Non-ducted units blow the cooled air out louvers on the unit. Ducted units discharge into a duct system like your home furnace. (Or RV Furnace (heater)).

Manual air duct damper installation

Go down to where the ducts come out of the furnace. Identify the line you want to install damper. Open duct and drill two holes directly across from each other. Take your damper and undo the nut and washer on the one end and install in the holes you just drilled. Reattach the washer and nut and now re connect the duct seal it with duct tape and you will be good to go.

If you have 6 inch ducts get a 6 inch damper. But be sure to do everything at the beginning on the duct as to divert air to other ducts.

I have to tell you that changing your air flow could develop problems if you do very many ducts. So be very aware of what you doing. All systems are put in with air flow in mind.

The newest defrost feature in modern fridges is the electronic adaptive defrost control board. to put this adaptive defrost style of fridge into defrost, short with a small screwdriver between L1 and test on the adaptive defrost board, wait 3 seconds and you should hear a "click" noise from the relay and the fridge will shut off and go through a defrost cycle.

Air duct doors fail to operate when using the selector knob.

There is a very small black hose that provides vacuum to operate the different vacuum motors in the system through the switch you mentioned, that switch simply diverts vacuum to what ever air outlet u select, the vacuum comes from the engine, it goes through the firewall on tha passenger side, like I said it is a small black hose.

My window air is leaking on the inside of my house

usually because the drain hole/duct/tube, on the outside is blocked, or the aircon is mounted leaning Into the house, condesate that is supposed to drip into the outer casing and run out the hole is funneled over the lowest point of the casing, the house side.
check and unblock the drain,
and ensure the aircon is mounted tilted back.

Duct from freezer to frig is blocked with ice, frig warm

give the unit a full defrost then unblock the drain hole. it sounds like the tiny defrost heater element may not be working and is therefore causing excess frost to build up on the freezer evaporator. also check door seals are not holled anywhere.
