You may not have setup the BootUSB properly, it needs a bootloader basically similar to a hard drive's MBR (Master Boot Record)
Have a look at Grub4Dos, its a linux bootloader that makes USB drives bootable and there are other programs that will configure it to load the ISO you want.
Also try UNetBootin for windows it helps alot

Right click on computer/my computer select properties select advanced system settings. select the advanced tab and click on device manager.
See if there is any exclamation marks or red x's listed. If so you need to install the drivers so your computer can recognize usb devices. Go to your manufacturers website to find the appropriate drivers for your system.
