Make sure it's plugged in good. if it is get a electrician to inspect your lead from the breaker box to the dryer outlet as it may not be fully supplying the dryer with proper voltage

My Kenmore 110.62212101 Dryer won't dry my clothes. My heater element does not come on at all and my lent trap is clean.

There may be a blown fuse, but most likely the heater element is burned out. They're not very expensive and pretty easy to replace.

Where is the lent trap on the estate washer

If it is like my Kenmore washer, you need to remove the front panel at the base of the machine. You should see the trap front and center, caution when you open the trap there will be water coming out. good luck

My dryer is working, but it's not heating

pull the vent line off the back of dryer and see if it helps, also the duct that the lint filter slides into could be loaded with lint, when was the last time you cleaned out the dryer?sounds like from what you said when you had the top off it worked better because you had better air movement with the top off.go out side and check the vent,if it's a long run from the back of the dryer to the outside vent i use a leaf blower to blow out the vent line, you also need to vac out the inside of dryer where the motor is,if you have a shop vac blow off the motor and blow through the inside vent to clean out the heating duct and vac out the back of the drum, you should take it apart and clean it out once a year so the dryer will run correctly

My Hot Point Dryer keeps shutting off while the clothes are still wet. When I go to restart it will not start until it cools off. We took the dryer apart cleaned it all out and we always make sure the lent...

Thermostat controls heat. There is also a

motor centrifugal switch, in the element

circuit, that the motor closes to insure

the motor is turning. Try another heat

setting. There is more than one

thermostat. You may have blown the

'thermal fuse' too, which requires

replacement. The element has a contact in

the 'timer' circuit too.
It is possible that your element has

failed also.

Tripped high limit. Must clean the lint

filter and the exhaust vent tube and all

the way in to the dryer. Hot air exit is

restricted.

Dryer doesn't dry

YES, most defintely. This typically causes the dryer to overheat and eventually blows the thermal cut-out or heating element.

SYMPTOMS:

Dryer runs, but does not heat - possible bad heating element or thermal cut-out.

Dryer does not run at all - possible bad door switch, blown thermal fuse, timer or drive motor.

Does your dryer exhibit any of these symptoms? Please post back and let me know.
