SOURCE: Jacuzzi whirlpool, air on/off button on tub

If it is a air button that pushes in and comes back up, there is a good chance that the switch (which is mounted on the pump/motor) is bad. If the switch is a touch button on a key pad, the problem is in the control box for the pump/motor.

Sounds like you may have a circuit that is bad in the control box under the tub.
Very unusual for that type of issue unless there is a problem on the circuitry.
Call a technician to have them trouble shoot it for you. It may need to be replaced. Those are not usually an item that is fixed.

The hottub keeps kicking the circuit breaker off.

Either the breaker is bad or you have an electrical problem. Unless you know how to work with electrical problems call for service. If you unplug the hot tub and plug a lamp or hair dryer into the outlet does the breaker trip? If yes, call an electrician. If the outlet is fine call for service on the hot tub.

We cannot get the motor to turn off unless we disconnect it.

I am assuming you are referring to being able to shut off the motor by pressing the air actuator button on or by the tub. If this is the case, they have a small, usually clear, plastic hose which goes from the switch on the surface of the tub to the actual on / off air switch located on the pump. This is so you are not touching any electrical switch while in the tub. It is possible this line has disconnected. That is the simple solution. If this is not the fix then the the air switch on the pump will need to be replaced.

Hope this helps

I have a Bedford model faucet in the whirlpool tub. The hot water continues to leak after closure.

The stem will have to be rebuilt. Shut off water at main unless it can be isolated under tub. Remove handle, then bonnet. Lift stem out and rebuild. reassemble should fix the problem.

My Kohler whirlpool started on its own with no water in it. We turned it off with the switch and it hasn't happened again. Is there a danger of it starting a fire if we are away from home and it does it...

Most Kohler tubs have a water sensor or water level sensor. Is this an air bath tub (holes in the floor)? or a jetted tub? If it is an air bath, the tub will purge after using it 15 to 30 minutes ater it is drained. If it is programable it will come on every 24 hours if it has been programmed. If it is a jetted tub, there may have been water on the sensor and caused it to start up. If it is a single on/off button the switch could have gotten water and caused it to start up, or there is a problem with the control box. It usually will not start a fire if it comes on, most of the newer pumps have run dry seals. If you leave the house for vacation or weekends, I would advise unplugging the tub or turning off the breaker.

My jets wont turn on

All the electric power source to all jacuzzi tubs all required to be protected by a "ground fault" device. Have you noticed special wall receptacles in your kitchen and bathroom that have 'test' and 'reset' buttons? There may be a receptacle (or something that looks like a receptacle but without any slots for plugs) near the tub. Push the reset button. If the pump for the tub has an access panel, the device may be behind the panel. And last, the circuit breaker in the main electrical panel may be a ground fault type and needs reset there. Good Luck

Kohler Whirlpool tub motor wont turn on

We had the same thing happen to our Aker brand whirlpool tub.  The fix was a replacement timer/control piece which is connected by two wires to the pump behind the tub (access wall) and plugged into the outlet; however, this cost $150 for the part and $85 for the service call (all he did was take the part out and ship me the replacement part which was easy to do).  Problem I have now is that the motor won't shut off unless I unplug it.  I am waiting for a call back from the repairman who sent me the part.
