SOURCE: Miller Trailblazer 302 Gas, will

Check the circuit breakers, one may have tripped or failed, such as CB4 which would also impact generator voltage output and since it controls power to the 24 control system- the first one to check or service. If you can access the rear terminals, check the voltage in operation at both lugs- if you do not get the same voltage reading at each lug of CB4 measuring them one at a time to chassis ground, the breaker is tripped or faulty .

CB1 is inline with the 240 VAC outlet and is ahead of CB2 and CB3

CB2 and CB3 are inline with the 120VAC outlets

In each case, switch them off then back on.

If you have the GFCI option, it may have been tripped by unsafe conditions.

Miller trailblazer 302 wants to melt a brand new stator within seconds of welding. Any ideas on why? Thanks.

it would appear that there is current or voltage control probably from a dead short in the circuit or a problem voltage control regulator
probably best if you discuss it with the service agents as to what is wrong and get a proper diagnosis

My TB 302 cranks and runs at high idle does not idle down. I have power at all recepticals but no power at welding leads. I have checked all breakers and fuses, they are ok. what do I need to do next

there are a few things you can check on your machine,
make sure your machine is not in the remote control position, make your process switch is in the electrode hot position, the trailblazer has three slip rings, make sure the carbon brushes are not "stuck" in the holders, there are 2 circuit boards in your machine, make sure the plugs are properly inserted into the receptacles and making good contact, also make sure your ignition switch plug is clean and making good contact

What will cause my welding generator to start up at full rpm and not idle down?

Check the governor unit. Miller is a good make, shouldn't be a problem downloading a manual.

Miller Trailblazer, welds great for about 30 minutes. Then I loose my arc. It will spark but not maintain the arc. I let it cool off for 15 to 30 minutes it will weld for another 15 to 30 minutes.

Sounds pretty normal. These units are not rated to weld continuously. They might only be rated at 5-10% for cheap welders and longer for better ones. They are never designed to run continuously. You need to get into the higher end ($$$) before you get that ability.
You can try to blow cool air into the unit to help it cool. Sometimes this can extend the work time.Basically you can try that or work to your temp cut off limit as you have been or upgrade to a better unit. That is about all you can do.
