Since Windows 7 doesn't come with an email client and the send email is trying to find a program to use to send your email, you probably don't have an email client. To remedy this you may wish to download Thunderbird or Eudora, both free email readers, install them, put in your proper email settings (your email address, your password, and the email server names at least). Once you have set up your email client program your send by email should work fine.

You have to associate a email client so it knows what client to use.

How do i send email with a large attachment from my imac

Hi
Attachments to email should be less than 10mb.
Your ISP sets the limit.
Open an email and get it ready to go.
Put cursor where you want the attachment to sit on the page.
Drag your file to be attached, from the Desktop to the Email window & drop. Then clik send.
For larger attachments:
Use the free DropBox to share files with friends. You place files to be shared in the Dropbox Folder which shows in the top menu of a Mac. Very simple to use, once set up. https://db.tt/7ByRbUj

Why does my "send page by email " option not work?

you may not have a "default e-mail" application configured. Your browser doesn't know what program to use to send it.

The 'send' choices have disappeared. Can't send anymore

I suspect the Composition Toolbar is hidden. When you write a message, do you see the Menu Bar (the line with File Edit View)?

If you do, left click View >Toolbars > Composition Bar. A check mark will appear next to this option. Alternatively, right click on the menu bar and then left click on the line for the Composition Bar.

If you do not see the menu bar, press Alt on your keyboard. Then the menu bar will appear. Type V T O to get the check mark on the composition bar.

If you press Ctrl and Return together, you will send the email immediately without needing the Send button. Ctrl + Shift + Return will save the email to send later. Alt + F + d (File > Send Now) will also work. Alt + F + l store the email to send it later.

These steps will work for Windows. I believe you might need different keystrokes with Thunderbird on a Mac or Unix.

I hope this helps.

I need to send a email with a attachment.how do i do it?

Depending upon which email program you are using the way you attach a file to an email varys.
Generally - create you email to the person you want to send the file attachment then look at the menu bar for something like "attach a file" then go the the folder where the file/s is located and click on the file/s you want to attach, when finished then click Send.

How to send email

Hi,

Sending an email is a very easy task. To open yahoomail, click on www.yahoomail.com

On the top-right side, below the Yahoo!'s logo, click on the button labeled "New"

On the box labeled "To", enter the email address of the person you want to send the mail. You can write the Subject on the box labeled "Subject".

Once done, writeup your mail on the Space provided below. When done, just hit the Send button. You can also attach files using the Attach button.

Hope this solves your problem. Thanks for using Fixya.

How do you send an e-mail ?

1) Click New in the upper left corner to write an email.
On the new page, click in the blank box beside To: and type the email address of the person you're writing to. Add addresses in the Cc: field if you want to send a copy of your email to anyone else. Others receiving this email will be able to see anyone listed in the Cc: line.

2) Inside Subject: give your email a title-then write whatever you want to in the message window. That's the big box below.
Sending is the easy part. Once you're done writing (and attaching photos or files if you want... see below), just click Send.
Here are some tips that can help you in the future:

3) Open your Address Book in a sub-window
Clicking To:, Cc: or Bcc: (see below) opens your Address Book in a sub-window, from which you can select recipients. Click Insert Checked Contacts when you're done.

4) Multiple Recipients:
Send your email to more than one person. Add additional email addresses after To: and separate them with commas (e.g., johndoe@yahoo.com, janedoe@yahoo.com, etc.). If you will be emailing this group again, you might want to create a category for them. That way, in the future you can send to the group in one click!

5) Bcc:
If you want to send a copy of your email to someone, and not let anyone else see that they're getting a copy, click Show Bcc above the To: line. Bcc is "blind carbon copy. Bcc: recipients are invisible to the To: and Cc: recipients of the email, as well as to each other. For example, if you send an email to johndoe@yahoo.com with a Bcc: to janedoe@yahoo.com, you will see himself as the message's only recipient. You will also get the email, and she will see that you addressed and sent the email To: You as well.
Check spelling:
While composing and email, you can check the spelling in your email. Just click the Spelling button at the top of the page. If you want to localize your spell check to a specific language, click the arrow next to the Spelling button and select the appropriate language from the drop down menu.
Misspelled words are underlined in red. To view a list of suggested corrections for any misspelled words just click it!
Attach Photos and Files:
Click Attach at the top of the page. In the window that opens, click Browse to find and select the file you want. When you've got it, click Open. Repeat these steps to attach more files, and when you're finished, click Attach Files.

Trying to email charts to another email. Can you help me? I have wondows vista

Not enough info, but I'll try. With the file closed, Right click on the icon for it. If you don't know how, look at pic below. Put your cursor on the file and click right mouse button 1X. A drop down menu comes up. Go to send to and click on "mail recipient." Another way is to have your file open in whatever program you made it. Go to file (top of your screen) and click on it. Drop the menu down and choose SEND, or maybe export. You can choose to attach it or send it like a page. or
If you tried to email it and it won't go through, it may be too big. Right click on the file icon again. A drop down menu comes up. Click on send to. Then compressed Folder. In the future, try to tell us what kind of computer and programs you use. It would be way easier to help.

Can not send page by email

If you are running Vista, you have a tool called the SNIPPING TOOL,you will find this in the ACCESSORIES folder in the start menu. The snipping tool is a fantastic utillity.I suggest you RIGHT CLICK on it in the Accessory folder and select add to "QUICK LAUNCH" Which is the 2 little arrows in the bottom right hand side of the taskbar, this will enable you to use it quickly, you could also create a short cut to the d/top. What this tool does is lets you take a snippet (photo) of what ever you wish on the screen. When you have the required "snippet" click the save icon (top left of snippet screen) and choose where you want to save the Snippet to. I Created a new folder in my Pictures File Purposely for my snipetts. I hope you find this helpful,if not i will be happy to find another solution for you. Happy E-mailing.

Email

You can set it to send automatically, however it won't send the email immediately if you do. It can be set to send/receive every 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or a few other longer options.

To get to this option, open up your messaging, tap Menu (bottom right) and under Tools choose Options...

A window will open up, which shows all of the messaging accounts (text message, Outlook, and any additional email addresses you have). Choose an email account you want to change. On the last page (should be 4 pages of options so just keep clicking Next in the bottom right) there is an Options button.

Click Options and you should see, in bold text, "Connect automatically and check for messages" with a drop down menu. The option, right now, is probably set to Never, so change it to whichever option suits you best.

Keep in mind that if you want an email sent immediately then you'll still have to click Send/Receive, but otherwise it will automatically Send/Receive at the specified time.

Picture mail

SPRINT - You must have you phone setup linked to an active email acount (i.e. yahoo, etc)

(New Picture) When you take a picture, tap on the envelope icon. \/

(Picture from file) Select and view picture from file explorer. Once open select send in the lower left corner. \/

The option for sending the picture comes up. Click send via email (not picture mail). This opens your email menu, select the correct email account to send from. Once the compose email page opens, simply type the email address and send.

note: to send to another phone you must know the address in which the cell company uses. Some are:

- Sprint - (phonenumber)@pm.sprint.com
- US cellular - (phonenumber)@mms.uscc.net
- ATT - (phonenumber)@mms.att.net
