I can do everything with my printer( Dell) via my computer( Packard Bell) except printing photos onto photo paper. I've installed my printer on a friends computer and it works perfectly. It even works directly from my camera via pictbridge. I've carried out a full recovery program on my computer taking it back to factory settings but I still can't print photos on photo paper from my computer. It will print photos onto plain paper and even heavy weight archival paper. Dell claim it must be my windows setup and Packard Bell say it must be the printer drivers. Please can you help? I have windows vista home premium.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

You have to shift the paper tray. Click on start, click on printer/faxes right click click on your printer, click on printer preferences, select photo printing borderless. This shifts your paper tray to photo paper.
Download the photo to your My Pictures folder. (Vista is different)
Printer with photo printing capability connected to your computer, (Or an All-In-One machine), go to your My Pictures folder. Double-click to open it. Right-click on the photo you wish to print. Left-click on Print in the list.
