I need to know how much water to put in it.

press the helpful button

Fill the provided measurement cup to the maximum fill line with water. In areas with a high mineral concentration in the tap water, we recommend using distilled or demineralized water to prolong the life of the steam cleaner. Using the funnel, pour the contents of the cup into the reservoir.

I am still awaiting for your reply, athina_papamichael@hotmail.co.uk, regarding water reservoir cap steam leaking is this normal or do I require a new cap or rubber ring, otherwise I will have to take my...

Hello, no this is not normal. You just need a new O-ring. This is about a 1 dollar fix. The original O ring is clear rubber but a 3/4" standard O ring will work just fine. You can get these at Lowes or Home Depot.

Steam leaking from screw cap. can i get a new one?

you dont need a new steam cap if steam is coming out of the top, that is supposed to happen when the hose is clogged, it would be very dangerous if that didnt happen, the amount of pressure that thing holds is unreal if you think your cap is leakin steam take a second look. if the cap is not physically damaged then it should be working fine, 9 times out of 10 your hose is clogged

Steam escapes Steam Buggy

I've faithfully used by little yellow Steam Buggy to clean tight corners in my replacement windows and was always to get them looking new again and many other small places that needed blown out with steam when wiping or even scrubbing with a toothbrush doesn't work. I started to use it today and the steam started to come out around the black cap. After searching for a solution on the net I was very disappointed to find everyone else was having the same problem with no real solution. I had my hubby look at it and he said the gasket was worn and slip an o-ring on top of the gasket and now it back to working fine.

Just wanted to pass it along. A 10cent O ring will fix it.

How to use the product

We had the same problem. My husband gave the cap a few judicious
blows with a hammer to loosen it because it had become encrusted
with mineral deposits. That allowed us to open it ... then we spent a
remarkable amount of time flushing minerals out of it.

From now on, I'll do the vinegar rinse bit (in the manual) after every use
(or at least frequently).
