I don't think you can figure out the area of this rhombus/parallelogram.

The area of a parallelogram is base, which we have, times height.

Picture the parallelogram with all the angles being 90 degrees. The area would be 54 square centimetres. Now imagine you can slide the top part of the parallelogram to the right, with the bottom fixed and all the corners on hinges. In theory, you can nearly slide the top down until it is just above the base. The area would approach zero, as the height of the parallelogram decreases.

Good luck,

Paul

It is located behind the supercharger rotor housing on the drivers' side, almost straight across from the intake plenum. It is mounted beneath a rhombus shaped plate with 2 1/4" bolts. The valve is mounted on top of a spring and there is a gasket on the bottom of the plate so be careful not to break it...it's not rubber. The plate holding it down also bolts into aluminum so don't over tighten.

Hi there

I've worked on a few Mitsubishi's in my lifetime and one of their most common problems is the DMD Board that goes faulty and this makes the image go all pear shaped.

If you've only had the unit for 3 months now it should still be under warranty and the warranty covers these kind of repairs.

Hope this helps you !
