How to stop your scroller on the blackberry 9300 from freezing ?

Hello,

Try this, Place some cloth, or a glove on your finger and see if the track pad detects your finger.

If it does response then the problem is with the track pad sensibility.
If it does You will have to adjust the sensibility and/or clean the track pad from any dirt.

If that doesn't solve your problem, you have a damaged track pad that needs to be replaced.

Let me know if you need further assistance on disassembling the curve and replacing the track pad or with any other question you have.

Bb curve 8520 track pad would not work replaced with a new one but still have the same problem can you help

Hi,

Try to test at least 2-3 track pad, might the one you bought is still defective, same case i've got in you, on the 4 track pad,it works.

Also clean the main board interface connector of the track pad, might be corroded that is why it is not working properly.

Good Luck...

The touch pads of my microwave are not functioning

In most cases if the pads are not working it must be replaced, some times the carbon tracks that are worn out can be repaired temporarily. The only way possible to see if the touch pads are working is to test the voltage of the control pads when it contacts. The input of the Microprocessor should be checked for the pad control inpulse to come in. If there is no trigger voltage to the mP this can be the control pad problem.
The mP must be checked for the working voltage and also the frequency oscillation at the crystal leads. If so the mP is working with a suspected control pads which is not able to set the program or timing.
There is no way but to remove the sticker pad and replace, One difficult way to have a chance is to remove the carbon sticker pads and check continuity , You can use a carbon pen to line the tracks so that the multimeter reads a continuity. With this you can have a temporary fix

My computer comes on opens windows all looks ok as soon as i touch the cursor, nothing responds,

Make sure that the track-pad (mouse-pad) is not disabled. There should be a button located above the track-pad that allows you to disable or enable the track-pad. If not, I would use a USB mouse and then go into the Control Panel, mouse and change settings there to enable the track-pad.

Keypad touch problem

The touch pad , the carbon track within could have lost the track continuity and is best to get this replaced.
Since the pad is wedged a repair with a carbon pen may be short lived , hence the pad can be replaced.
Check if the pad contacts are good.

Pointer on track pad moves on its own. it does not move along with finger and goes in jerky direction elsewhere.

did water get on the track pad? Try connecting an external mouse to get control over your pointer, and navigate to system preferences/track pad. See if you can play around with the settings, but if the external mouse works ok, it sounds like water may have come in contact with your track pad.

MY CONTROLLER WILL NOT CHANGE PROGRAM OR ADJUST VOLUME

Carefully open the remote controller unit and look inside for possible failure of the carbon pads or the remote control PCB tracks. So first of all open to clean the padds and the pcb then check specially on the volume controller pads, use old pads to be stuck on or carbon dots that are available for repairing remote controllers.Repeat this for the program pads. If the fault does not clear then look into the PCB section of the volume tracks and program tracks and use a carbon pen to make the tracks prominent. Hope this works. Good day
