I am trying to remove a deadbolt with no visible screws. Every site I have been to says to locate the small pin-hole on the shaft. Use a paperclip or an awl with a fine point to press the pin-hole to

What kind of a deadbolt do you have. You will need product specific instructions. Is it a single or a double deadbolt. If it is a double there is likely a cap that covers the screws and it can usually be popped off with a knife blade end or such.

This information sounds more like it applies to a handset rather than to a deadbolt. What type and model is it. If as in handsets there is in fact a pin hole release mechanism you will have to have the so called thumb-turn lever rotated to the correct position to insert the pin to contact the internal lock releasing mechanism and push it in to release the thumb-turn knob.

How can I remove the top cap of the winding lever for Pentax K2? This is for me to remove the top cover as the lever is a bit sticky and I would like to lubricate it

K1000: Remove counter cover (3 setscrews around perimeter), remove counter disk (screw is right threaded - turn right to remove!!!!!), washer if not glued to bottom of disk, round nut with slots (also right threaded), lift off counter base, three advance lever spring screws, turn spring until loose, remove advance lever, remove washer underneath

K2: using a rubber stopper, and downward pressure on the cap/ cover screw, turn to right (this cap screw is right threaded!!!)If you try and turn it like you would a normal screw you will break it off. If the camera has corrosion under the cap screw it may stick - try heating with a soldering iron (careful the screw cap will be very hot). In extreme cases I have drilled two holes (one on either side) and used a pair of round nose fine tip pliers to turn it.

Unsure of which model you have as both are mentioned in post

The lever to push down the toast will not lock in to start the toastng cycle

Inside the toaster (behind the toast, bagel, etc. Buttons) there is a magnet, this needs to be clean for the taster to lock. First, unplug the unit. Now remove the cap on the thumb lever and the four screws at the bottom, separate the toaster. Now you will see the magnet, remove any debris with a dry towel or with your finger tip. After properly re-assembled this should work.

My Stihl 210 saw will not shut off . After I flip the lever to the up position it just keeps idling. Have to switch it up and down numerous times for it to finally stop.

Pull the trigger, set the thumb-lever to full choke, and remove the air filter cover. Observe the flat brass spring behind that cover (on the left side of the unit). It should be ABOVE the shaft that rotates when the thumb-lever is moved up or down. Also notice the black wire with a round brass terminal on the end. That is the "stop-circuit" wire and should be inserted into the notch atop the rotating shaft, directly UNDER the flat brass spring.

If assembled correctly, the terminal end of the black wire will rotate when the thumb lever is moved upward and it will slide UNDER the flat brass spring to kill the engine by grounding it out. If the flat brass spring is located UNDER the shaft, it will not contact the wire's terminal. To avoid this in the future, always pull the throttle trigger BEFORE moving the thumb lever to choke position. If the thumb lever is pressed downward without pulling the throttle trigger first this issue will happen again.
Feel free to comment if this does not resolve your issue.

Hope this helps,
