Question about Heating & Cooling
Bluestar split ac indoor unit making abnormal noises. I have a 5 star 1 ton bluestar ac model 5HW12ZBI. It makes noise (kit -kit) when the ac trips off. The noise is minor during day time but it Ibecomes unbearable after I go to sleep after I switch off all lights in my room. The noise can be explained as machinery like something is stuck in its fan. I am unable to sleep due to this. I have consulted bluestar people....they came ...cleaned indoor & outdoor unit and went....doesnt help...and as I explained that noise is more at night so they did not get it at day time... Thanks in advance..... My email is email@example.com.
From your details i can observe the blower motor bearing worn out. or its side bushes in which there is small bearing that may be worn out. Replace it. Finally check for correct voltage too.

SOURCE: AC doesn't blow cold air
Threr are suppose to be two sounds comming from the window unit. One, the fan sound and the compressor sounds, (this compresses the refrigerants aove room temperatures (around 240*) & send it to the back coils and remove it to room temperatures and send it to the front coils which if enough freon, it will cool to at least 40*. Turn the thermostat all the way up or down while its off and see if you hear a clicking noise which tells you the thermostat is working which that what calls for cool. If it started loosing cools little by little, then you have a leak, and leaked all the freon out! If it stopped cooling all of once, then your compressor is not kicking in.

SOURCE: fujitsu heat pump noise
i would check the blades on the condenser fan motor and make sure they are not hitting anything if they are not, spin the fan see if the fan spin freely, it should, if it doesn't it could be the bearing in the motor are dry and going bad

SOURCE: ice formation in the indoor unit
you need to have the unit checked for the amount of freon in the system this must be done with a gauge set the freon amount is obviously incorrect
also the a-frame evaporator must be sealed in the furnace cabinet
