SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: power shuts off

The unit is in "protect" mode. Basically a problem is detected in the last output stage of the amplifier section and the unit shuts down to prevent further damage. I suspect that you connected too many speakers to the system. The impedence load was too low for the amp section to handle and one or more output transistors have failed. This should be a straightforward repair for any local repair shop. Figure on $20-$40 for parts plus the local labor rate for the repair. I am not familiar with your specific model, but these shelf units are all similar in design. I will try to locate the service manual for this one to get you more details.

I have an LG fb163 everything seems to function but no sound in the speakers

check mute button, source knob/button, speaker selection knob/button while its playing a cd or FM radio. Also if you have connected headphones the speakers would mute. Check the speaker connections. If the speakers are powered you need to connect them to a power source. If all these fail to produce sound consult a technician.

Need user manual to operate fwC550 system

What country are you in? You may be getting the local Philips support page. I found a tri-lingual (English, French and Spanish) manual for the FWC550 here: http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/cpindex.pl?ctn=FWC550&hlt=Link_UserManuals&mid=Link_UserManuals&scy=US&slg=AEN . The direct link to that manual is http://download.p4c.philips.com/files/f/fwc550/fwc550_dfu_aen.pdf . This copy has some pages duplicated with unreadable pages followed by better scans of the same page. Thus the English section is from page 1 - 58.

I hope this helps.

Hello
I've the user manual to your device in PDF format. I can't send it to you by this window as it does not allow me to upload PDF files by it. If you send your email address to me by Fixya comment box, I'll send a copy of it to you by return mail. OK.
