Flashing warning on PowerShot SX110

You receive a flash warning because the image does not have enough light for the aperture and shutter speed combination either you have set or the camera has set. There are several solutions. I can't seem to find whether that camera has a manual exposure mode or only auto modes. If only auto modes, refer to number 1 and the last two bullets.
Solutions.
1. Turn on your flash. If you do not want to use your flash....
2. If you have the ability to adjust your exposure settings
  • Open your aperture to it's widest ability. That would be a small number like 2.8 or 3.5
  • Reduce your shutter speed to about .125 Anything slower than that may introduce blur into the image depending on how steady your hands are.
  • Increase your ISO upwards toward 1600. Be cautious though. The higher the ISO, the more grain or noise is introduced into the image.
  • Do not use optical zoom (16x). Use only digital zoom (4x). You lose too much light at super zoom levels and the pic gets too shaky anyway.

My Canon MV940 has indicatate condensation ,i have

Hello

Thank you for using
FixYa for your problem

Not sure why you put it in a airtight plastic bag as it will keep the moisture in it. open it all and put in the hot water cupboard, the heat can help eveoparate the moisture

Otherwise your camera is faulty. It should be taken to an authorized repair centre for a repair estimate. Very few digital cameras have any user-serviceable parts.

Please rate our solutions and if you still have problems please call back for more ideas to help you

How do i eliminate wind noise when recording video outside with my sd 1000

Most professional recording mikes have a foam cover to reduce the wind noise. Maybe a small piece of material like that might help reduce wind noise if it is over where the mike(s) are.

I have a CD-1000 Sony camera I want to sell, but have to transfer slides to CD first on it.

Noise Reduction

This function reduces the noise that generated during long exposures. When shooting night scenes, shutter speeds become slower and noise tends to appear on images. When Noise Reduction is set to ON, the camera automatically reduces noise to produce clearer images. However, shooting time is approximately twice as long as usual.
