This fix will work for all of the VEO Stingray problems because it gives a good driver download site and it tells you step by step how to get your cam to work with VISTA Good Luck and let me know if this fixed your problems.

1.Go to this site and download the driver you need: http://www.softsci.com/veodrivers.htm

2.Download it to your desktop

3. Don't unzip, install, or plug in your cam yet

4.Search for this in your start menu: Program Compatibility Wizard

5. Of the three choices click the one that says look for the program manually

6. Choose the option for XP

7. Choose the 680 x 420 or whatever it is not the 256 colors

8. Choose to run as administrator

9. Click next and it should change your screen to a real big resolution and then it will start to install the driver

10. Go through the install wizard

11. After it has loaded plug in your camera

12. Try a program that it is supposed to work with

13. Finish the Compatibility Wizard

now everything should work for your cam.
This works with all of your programs that vista will not run.

I have two problems with my HP compaq 6830s running VIsta business SP2 1) My inbuilt web cam stopped to work, and i have tried to uninstall and reinstall drivers with no luck. 2)The wireless card,...

If you upgrade your operating system like from windows xp to windows vista, you need to install new hardware driver for your computer like for LAN, webcam, WAN and others because the old driver is only compatible with the old operating system and not with VISTA operating system. Solution would are, download webcam and WAN driver for Windows Vista and install it into your computer. Don't just upgrade your computer because the configuration is not the same with the old operating system. If problem still exist, just upgrade the service pack from 2 to 3. There is available install for upgrading the service pack of each operating system. and surely all your hardwares will function.

Upgraded my dell inspiron 1545 from vista to windows 7, now my web cam doesn't work nor will it let me install the original drivers? I've tried the root clean up and connecting a usb cable, no luck

I think the reason it wont let you install original drivers because they are probably just for Vista OS. You can try going to dell's web site and see is there driver download for it or who ever manufacturer is of your web cam. When you ran upgrade advisor it would have told you that web cam probably would have not worked and would have told you where to go for the driver if available.

I have aspire 4315 notbook but crystal eye webcam is not working?i have before vista basic home but i install vista ultimate then cam is not working?

When you upgraded your operating system, it did not install the drivers for your webcam because they wasn't available. Goto the link below, select your operating system, and download and install the drivers for your webcam.

Will not wrk with vista basic

Common problem when upgrading from Xp to Vista. Either the webcam is incompatible with Vista (you're out of luck) or you need a Vista driver for the cam. Check your computer manufacturer's website and the cam's website for the Vista driver.

No web cam found

It may not be detected by windows or the device manager till the correct driver is installed and can initialize the device (Power it Up)

Try Searching Acers website for a Vista version of your driver , and be sure to make sure you pick the correct bit (ie; 32bit drivers will only work with 32bit vista, and 64 with 64)

Compaqa3000 cant install

HP does not currently have a driver release for the Compaq A3000 All-In-One that is compatible with the Windows Vista operating system. You can attempt to find an alternate driver that works but it may cause system instability, if it works at all. I recommend upgrading to a printer with a Vista-compatible driver available because it is the most stable solution.

I have upgraded my Orbi Cam, moved all my pictures to document files. My comp says that the cam is working but it is not!! Everything was fine until I upgraded my Vista!!! HELP please

Vista requires new drivers for all Ur devices. Goto the manufacturers website and download new drivers. Leave the devices connected and use the control panel - system - hardware - devices and uninstall the device. Reboot and when it detects the device, load the new drivers.

Orbicam wont work

Your problem is that the drivers that were previously running with you previous operating system are not Vista compatible you will have to download a new set of drivers from the manufactures website to install. I would suggest you also download drivers for your bios and update that too.
