Your ASUS Chromebox comes with a keyboard... the caps lock key is to your left in the center... it will say CAPS LOCK. If you didn't get a keyboard..check this link out...
The Caps Lock indicator is on the lower left edge on this model.
They are very tiny and extremely hard to see in bright light. Try it in the dark or under a blanket by pressing the caps key on and off slowly and observing the small led. If it is not responding you may have a faulty keyboard. When you press the Caps key does it actually produce Capital Letters in Notepad for instance? If Caps is actually doing the correct thing then probably a faulty led. To check for a faulty keyboard either attach an external usb keyboard or invoke the on-screen keyboard from the 'Ease of Access' folder under Accessories.
On the keyboard, there should be an area to the right top that will light up when you click the caps lock button. Typically this key is found above the shift key on the left hand side of the keyboard.
