I need to know exactly where the drain hole is on this model. I have had to tilt it back further since it was too level. My other window a/c's are draining, however this one isn't. I am thinking maybe the drain area is plugged.

If the hole is on the outside of the house, it's not a problem. If it's on the inside around the window, that's not the drain hole. The drip pan's drain hole on the rear of the unit is clogged and water is backing up and/or the rear of the unit is not tilted down enough at the rear. 1/4" to 1/2" rear downward tilt. Which is the general rule of thumb.
Finding the rear drain hole can be a challenge at times. As the clog can blend in with the hole. Patience & persistence are needed in finding it. A pipe cleaner works well to clear the clog.
Hope this helped you and thanks for choosing FixYa.
It appears that the drain is plugged it sounds as if you have it tilted enough . U should be able to remove the front cover from the unit and see the drain behind the evaperator between the inddor fan motor and the evapator. you will see a pan might be plastic under the evaperator . look for the drain . they are sometime difficult to find but it's there. be certain it is open. You might also (if it has a drain hose Blow a bit of air up against it and clear it as well. either way take a bit of of house hold cleaner and drop in the drain pan .. this will help a little to clear the drain . Let me know hope this helps
Sometimes there is a drain hole, sometimes there is a slinger ring on the condenser fan that slings water up on the condenser to evaporate. I always give them just the tiniest bit of slope back that way if there is any stray condensate it goes outside , not in the room.
1. make sure the unit is tilted back in the window and not forward. The unit has to be tilted back away from the window about a half bubble on a level in order to drain out the back.
2. if the unit is tilted in the window properly and still draining out the front, you will have to take the case off the unit and wash it out good with a hose and sprayer. If the unit is not rusted out on the bottom, the drain is stopped up that drains the water from the front coil into the base of the unit. The water should be draining from the front to the back, and excess drains outside on the ground. Hopefully, it just needs a good cleaning. Hope this can save you from buying a new unit. Stay cool. Hello, the first thing is make sure the AC is tilted a bit in the window, if it is level the water will collect toward the front of the unit and drip inside. Second if there is a drain hole on tne unit then you can connect a hose to it and let it drain. However if there is no drain hole then the unit uses tne fan blade to splash the water on the condenser and since the condenser is warm/hot it will condense the water.
Hi,
The drain holes in the bacl are plugged with dirt...
pull the A/C out and check for the blockage and remove it so that the unit will drain properly.
The drain holes are usually in the back corners...
the fridge probably isn't quite level - or tilt the side that is holding the water slightly so it down to the drain hole - 1/8" could make the difference
