I have a dell latitude 3330 with windows 7 on it and the proxima ultralight x540 projector is not being detected on the computer

The filters probably need cleaning. Also check and make sure none of the vents are being blocked.

There could be several reasons for this problem.
1. New lamp needed.
2. New lamp did not fix? Could be mirror tunnel behind the color wheel than can collapse causing "dim" light source or dark lines.
3. All items "greyed" out caused when the unit does not sense a source input, ie computer or tv tuner. After connecting to a source, you should be able to go and adjust contrast and/or brightness settings

Hi,

Make sure the projector is in flash more before connecting. (read flash instructions)
When it prompts for drivers show the uncompressed flasher program catalogue. It should find the drivers for 'Infocus Projector Flash'.
After this you can run the program and continue normal flashing procedure.
