CDS slipping when playing.

Try the disc in another CD / DVD player.

It is important to make sure that the DVD itself is the problem, and not the CD / DVD player.

Cleaning a CD / DVD player is a much more intricate process that requires device-cleaning hardware.

Lay the disc artwork-side down so that you can easily clean the playing side.

You should always avoid setting a disc playing-side down to prolong its lifespan.

Gently rub the disc with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove all traces of dust and fingerprints. Always rub a disc from the center toward the outer rim in a light motion to prevent any other damage.

Apply a light amount of toothpaste to a cotton wool ball and gently rub the disc from the inside out.

You may need a few drops of water to make the toothpaste spread easily.

Cover the entire surface area of the disc, or at least the area that is scratched.

Toothpaste is a gentle abrasive that works well for fixing simple scratches.

Clean off the toothpaste with the cloth, once again rubbing from the inside of the disc toward the rim.

Try not to push too hard to prevent further damage.

Apply other kinds of light abrasives such as baking soda or glass cleaner if the sound is still distorted.

Remove the solution with the same gentle rubbing technique.

Purchase a disc-cleaning spray from a local video or electronics store.

These sprays are effective in removing any grime from the disc and filling small scratches.

hope this helps

I have a caset i play it for 15minute and it stop playing and tell me to clean the disc with a soft cloth and restart the console it

if you are talking about a disc try using a little bit of deoderant or after shave on a soft cloth and rub in a small circular motion starting at one side and working your way around (see video). dont use too much but if you just use a little bit and rub it properly it should work. if that doesnt work then the disc is scratched at a certain part and cannot be fixed. my method is proven to work if done right. i have had games cleaned by video store cleaners and i have even bought special disc cleaning kits and that and nothing could fix my discs but when i did this method i have had even the dirtiest scratched discs work again. this method works 90% of the time but like i said if this wont fix it nothing will. hope this helps.

My video game wont play

Check the disc for scratches. If it has scratches, i recommend rubbing it with peanut butter. Shockingly, it removes the scratches.

My Wii gave me this message -- "an error has occurred. Press the eject button and remove the disc. Then turn the wii off and refer to the wii operations manual for troubleshooting." Any chance for a home...

it sounds like the disc it scratched to where it cant play if you have big scratches i've found that rubbing white toothpaste on the scratch and leaving it on there for 5 minutes then wipe it off this will fill the scratch if there is just little scratches these are most likely going to come off just take windex on a paper towel and rub it on the disc.

My Ps2 guitar hero plays Guitar hero #3 perfectly fine, but the other one Guitar Hero Rocks the 80's wont play at all. We were not able to get the World Tour to play at all. What gives?

Check the bottom of the disc it may be dirty or scratched. If its dirty then clean it with rubbing alcohol, if scratched you'll have to buy a scratch remover.
