Just take backup before restore and then put it back to your iPod as it is after your restore is done.

Thanks !!

My ipod is locked and i dont know the passcode. How do i unlock it or fix it?

The only way to gain access to your iPod again is to connect it to your computer, start iTunes, and select the restore option. Be warned however, this will erase all music and data on you iPod.

Deleteing music on ipod shuttle

unless you used the same computer when downloaded music, then you should be able to delete. Otherwise, you need to sync new music. It will erase all of the other music that is in the shuffle. this really sux. i had that problem. Couldn't even keep the same music.
