Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
Firstly I thought it to be the cassette lift motor but upon testing it I found it to be working fine. Later I traced it to the engine board with connector pin yc1 9 grounding (not suppose to be ) according to electrical sketch. Can it be reset or should I purchase new engine board?

The issue you are experiencing with your printer i.e error 2200 is related to "Scan Carrier Stall error" I believe the steps mentioned below will fix the issue,
1. Unplug the power cord from the wall socket.
2. Disconnect the power supply from the back of the printer.
3. Wait 15 seconds.
4. Reconnect the power supply to the back of the printer.
5. Plug the power cord back into the wall socket.

SOURCE: I have a FS-1118 MFP
yyou have to be careful when doing this.
the waste toner is built in to the process unit (drum unit) and has a plug on the side.
remove the plug and tip it out.

SOURCE: Sharp AR 163 display L6 error
The error is for the polygon motor if you have done the test for the motor and it doesnt work I think thereis the answer because they spin so fast the motors will eventually go if it had been a little noisy p[rior to this then it has a read or seize error if you know how to take it out youcan manually gently spin it to see if it is stuck just make sure you use a clean dry cloth to cover it prior to turn as you might mark the mirrors.. Good Luck A

The drum is not pushed fully into the machine.Open the waste toner container door and gently push all units into the printer. Then turn off the printer at the wall. When you power back up the printer should be back to normal.
