Question about Scotts EasyGreen Rotary Spreader

1 Answer

The plastic hopper sliding door broke off. Don't suppose there are any replacement parts. are there??

Looks to me like the 2 rivets that hold the sliding door mechanism to the hopper would have to be drilled out if there was a replacement part.

My window regulator is broke. Trying to fix it but the window is down. How can I get the window up

if you have the door panel off, then you will have to detach the mechanism from both the door and glass, then gently wrestle it out. once you detach the glass, it should easily slide up. a trick I use is a couple of lengths of duct tape over the top of the door to hold the glass while I finish with the mechanism. patience is key.

How to replace power window regulator 2002 dodge dakota

Purchase replacement part first.
If you need motor only it might come without regulator.
Either way when you have the new part(s)
It will give you an idea of what has to be removed
look for plastic covers (round) or screws and remove them under the covers are screws also remove those.
neer door handle there is always a screw or tab.
on the pull handle (big one) there are 1-2 large screws remove those.
look near mirror area and remove any plastic covers. may be tabbed or screwed in??
usually lifting lightly and looking under the trim with a flashlight will tell you what is holding it.
remove plastic from around handle area.
pry lightly on the bottom and see if you have to lift up or straight out.
either way usually an up and out motion is required at same time.
tabs lift out easily while the push in plastic tabs may be more strong. if they stay in the door remove them later with trim tool. looks like a dandelion puller. then put them back on the door trim whre they came from for later installation.
If door has plastic film pull it away from the door and don't get the black stuff on you. Sticky!
Then find if regulator is bolted in or pop riveted in.
remove bolts or pop rivets and dont pinch your fingers but separate window glass from regulator.
This is the fun part you will have to find a hole to pull it out of. usually there is only one choice. and that is the biggest hole there.

How do I replace the drivers side door latch on a 1995 Oldsmobile Ciera? Is there a diagram available? The sliding door lock seems to be a problem removing the facing.

If you slide the door lock slider to the unlock position you can grab a hold of the end of it and pull towards you it's only held on by a clip embedded in the plastic. Once that's removed remove the trim panel behind it to gain access to the door handle assy.. The handle is riveted on to the door skin so you will have to drill out the rivet after that the handle will slide towards the front of the car about 1/2 inch and its free just disconnect the lock rod and install your new handle it sounds like a lot but is actually very easy

The door handle popped when trying to open the door from the inside. i pulled the handle too hard (because the doors were frozen shut). what part may i need to repair the door handle. the handle itself is...

remove the inner door panel and see if you just pulled the linage rod loose from the clip to the door latch if so it is just a plastic clip or it could have a threaded end and you might be able to just reinstall it into the metal clip and adjust it accordingly.Hope that helps.

Replacing front headlight bulb . Instructions for

With the hood open, you will see a long flat flexible plastic cover running across the front, above the headlights. It is riveted in with plastic rivets. Hold the outer part of the rivet, and pull up the center part. Then remove the whole rivet. Remove the plastic cover. (When you put it back on, insert the outer part in the hole, then press the center part down into each rivet.)
You will see a sidelamp and headlight assembly. Look down between the sidelamp and headlight, there should be a black plastic clip or latch that holds the side lamp to the headlight. (The clip is down a hole, in the bracket holding the headlight to the body). You will probably need a long screw drive to get down in the hole to release the clip. And maybe a flash light to see down the hole. Put just enough pressure to release the latch, it is plastic, and if you press to hard it could break. Once released the side lamp will pop forward a bit. The sidelamp section can be pulled forward. a bit. However, there is a long plastic part on the Sidelamp Section that slides into a metal hole in the Fender. It will break if you try to pry the sidelamp section out sideways.
Next you will see two top-mounted bolts holding the Headlight Assembly in place which can easily be accessed and removed. Removing the bolts will loosen the entire headlight assembly.
Some instruction say you can remove the headlight and side assembly as a unit. Do not do this! If you try to remove the headlight assembly without detaching the sidelamp you could break either of the lights or the connection assembly.
The Bulb Assembly twists out of the back of the Headlight Assembly, and the bulb can then be replaced. Be careful not to touch the bulb with your hands or with any grease.
Many of the parts are plastic and can break, so do this carefully and patiently. It sounds a little complicated, but once you learn how, the whole job only takes about 20 minutes.

Hope helped. (remember rated this).

I have a '93 coleman, cedar tent trailer with a broken rear bed. The bed extends through the end of the track and comes off the rail. I'm looking for a diagram, parts list, and repair advice.

I have the same issue. It looks as though the rivets broke off. I have yet to reattach the slide mechanism. Normally the slide mechanism is stopped by a peice of emtal about 1./2 the way down the slide. Either new rivets or some flush head screws might sole your issue.

Plastic Guide rail on sunroof broke

I just purchased a used yukon xl. Both plastic rails are broken.
Solution: Drill out the blind rivet. Start with 1/8 drill bit and remove the head off. The plastic broken part can now be removed.
Install a blind rivet through the new plastic rail and use the rivet gun to squeeze the rivet in place. Make sure it is the right length.
get a grip gage and determine the right rivet for it.
very easy job.
