Typical TCM's are installed in 1 of 2 places in most vehicles. If you have bucket seats with a center console, then it's usually mounted underneath the bracket for the shifter mechanism. If you have a steering column shifter then it's usually installed up against the firewall on the inside of the car, on the passenger side, typically behind the front glove compartment area. But I've also seen them mounted in the floor, and behind the rear seat.

Hello I just bought a 2004 Suzuki Verona but when I come to a stop the car seems to jerk forward a bit what would cause this to happen?

run the fault codes and check for a problem torque converter clutch servo/ solenoid or TCM
might need a transmission oil change and service if it hasn't been done on a regular basis

Fault P0700 indicates TCM Faulty or Transmission Failure?

It means either, what it means is this, the Transmission Control module (TCM) has requested the Powertrain control module (PCM) to turn on the check engine light because the TCM has detected a ****** fualt is present, this can be any of a bout 20 problems, that is all it means. What must be done now is to have the TCM scanned for the fault code(s) that alerted the PCM to turn on the CEL.

Where is my transmission dip stick located at on my 2004 suzuki verona

Hi, If it is a manual Transmission you will not find one. On automatic transmission you will find it near the back of the engine near the firewall. sometimes marked with yellow or red paint on it.
Good luck.

I just purcahsed a 04 verona and can not locate the transmission dipstick?

check really good , but odds are it might be a sealed transmission meaning it can only be serviced by the dealer or removing the pan and using a special tool on a special underside service port.
