Question about Audio Players & Recorders
I just bought it second-hand. It worked fine on mains but wouldn't run on batteries. I assumed they were flat and replaced them. Radio now plays on batteries but battery symbol in display still has a line through it and I can't reset the time. I get no response when I try those controls. Also, running on batteries I lose the preset stations that I set up when on mains. Maybe some of the internal functions have failed? Very happy with sound quality but this is annoying.

Turn off the car and remove the negative battery cable off. let sit a few minutes then reconnect the cable. try it several times. The removal of the battery causes the computer to deprogram itself. what you will be doing is re-programming the computer module.

I found out you tune the radio to the station you want to preset, and hold the preset button (1-6) that you want to assign it to until it beeps. And it's set.

I just posted a similar problem and did 2 more minutes of research on this site to figure it out. Hold down the 'cd mode' and press the on/off button. This turns the display on or off.
