Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: im trying to unlock the home screen of my ipad, i

Unfortunately, you're a bit stuck. The only way of removing a passcode without knowing it is to restore from an iPad backup when the passcode wasn't applied.
My advice would be to take it to an Apple Store, and explain the situation. They're always very helpful, and may be able to do something about it.
Hope that helped!

SOURCE: cant remember my passcode how

The following procedure details the process to Hard Reset your NOOKcolor device. Doing so will perform a factory reset of the NOOKcolor which de-registers your device as well as erases all local content such as contacts, sideloaded documents, personal information, 4 digit passcodes, etc. 1.Ensure your NOOKcolor is powered off; to do so, depress the power button for 5 seconds. Your LCD screen should turn off
2.With your NOOKcolor powered off, Hold the Home Key (NOOK "n," logo below the LCD), while simultaneously depressing the Power Button for up to 25 seconds.
3. Your NOOKcolor will begin the start up process, Do NOT let go until a confirmation window appears asking if you would like to, "Factory Reset Your Device?" This will De-Register as well as erase all content and information on your NOOKcolor (Including the 4 Digit Pass-code
4. Depress the Home Key to continue with the Factory Reset
5. Depress the Home Key again to Confirm
6. Your device will now begin the clearing process. Upon completion you will regain access to your NOOKcolor however all account and personal information (email, contacts, pass-code, credit card, etc..) will be deleted from your device. You will then be able to Re-Register your NOOKcolor and start anew. Good luck!! EJ Kudelka

SOURCE: cant remember my passcode for my ipad

plug it into the original computer that you set it up with and through itunes you will be able to reset it. Once the ipod appears under devices click on the restore button it will indicate that you can restore settings etc. If it is not the original computer that you are using you will be able to reset it but will lose the information on it. Hope this helps.

Passcode is required to enable Touch ID on Ipad

This is plain and simple - you need the original passcode before you can add your fingerprint. If this was a used tablet - you can get the passcode from someone that has it - or you may be able to factory reset it using itunes and recovery mode.

Moved house. Did not turn on the ipad for two weeks. Battery was flat. Tried to turn it on and it asks for a passcode. Have typed in my passcode, but it does not recognise the code.

That's very odd.. You are sure you didn't put the code in wrong or remembered it incorrectly?

If you forgot the code to your iPad you may have to reset it to factory defaults by plugging it into your PC unless you have a backup you can restore.

How can i get passcode

Unfortunately there is no way to get your pass-code back.
You can reset your iPhone using your i-tunes on your computer. Unless you have a restore date that is before the pass-code existed you will have to reset your phone.
You could also try to reset your pass code through find my iPhone on icloud.com but this may result in a temporary unusable phone.
you can follow this link to reset your phone:

Hoped this helped my best wishes to ya.

Forgot passcode

The solution to this problem will result on the deletion of all data. Turn off your iPad, then, connect your iPad to your computer while pressing and holding the home button. Let go of the home button when your iPad says, "Connect to iTunes," and then restore using iTunes.

Ipad disabled b/c son forgot his password...help us get in?

If your son cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your iPad using the computer you last synced your iPad with. Using the last computer you synced with allows you to reset your passcode and re-sync all your data, apps, etc.

To begin the process, connect the iPad to your computer using the USB cable or lightning cable. Open iTunes and select the restore option.

If you restore on another computer, you can still unlock the device and remove the passcode, but your data and apps will be wiped.

Hope that helps!

How do i reset the passcode

If you forgot or lost your password for your iPad, you'll have to restore the iPad. Plug the iPad into your computer using the cable, and open iTunes. Click on your iPad in left pane and click the 'Summary' tab. Click 'Restore.' This will wipe all data from your iPad and effectively reset the device to factory settings, but it's the only way to reset the passcode.
Good luck!
