Power Bar has a red light, xbox wont turn on

if im playing a game an i turn off my 360, when i try to turn it back on it wont turn back on i walk up to the 360 press the big power button no response, i look down at the power bar an the light is red i unplug it from the wall and wait 30 seconds(i tried 10,20 both didnt work as often as 30) before plugging it back in and getting the orange light i turn it back on and everything is back to normal until i turn it off and go through the same process
