Check to see if any of these work for your drill. There are some cords in the search results that seem universal for Milwaukee drills.

The only things that would cause this are a burnt out trigger switch or the motor brushes are worn out.

My dog chewed up cord. How do I repalce Milwaukee Model 6507 Sawzall

this should be a twist lock cord and all you need to do it twist the connector at the handle area and pull the cord off and buy a replacement, make sure whether it it grounded (3 wire) or double insulated (2 wire), you can go to Milwaukeetools.com and with your serial number look at a schematic for this tool and they also have a dealer locator to ensure that you get the proper one. Let me know if you need more assistance.

When I turn on the router, there is no response at mosttime, although sometime it works.

Do a check on your cord, a bad cord can cause that, either that or the power switch is missing contact and may need replaced.

Plugged electric sawzhall in, no power. checked cable -- ok, checked both brushes, still have about 3/8in in each of them. What should I do next? Just replaced the blade, but I do not think that has...

I would say its either in your cord(an open wire from wear) or the switch on the sawsall.
Try plugging it in and hold in the switch (dont have a blade in) move the cord around in different places to try to get it to work if thats not it and your brushes are ok its probably the switch. I ve replace bad switches in sawsalls before from wear. You can either go to your local electrical supply store that sells milwaukee and order one or I ve purchase them at Grainger parts too.

I need to change the cord on my 9392 Milwaukee Drill. The trigger does not have any screws and, I cannot not see how to change the cord out. The ground wire is attached to a screw connector.

On the trigger switch, if you look really closely you will see that there are clips inside where the wires go in. If you use a jewelers flat screwdriver or other narrow flat instrument, you can push the clip back enough to release the wire.

If the replacement cord doesn't have clips on the ends of the wires, make sure that you tin (apply solder) to the ends of the new wires before inserting them into the trigger. This is needed to keep the individual strands from being pushed everywhere and causing a short, and stiffens the end, making it easier to insert.

If you need further assistance, let me know.

Shaft has no power.

In the old days I would have said "Check the shear pin." But I just looked at the breakdown for this tool and it looks like they have put a clutch in this tool. The gear box will have to be disassembled and the clutch will have to be inspected and if the parts are still good, the clutch will then need to be torqued to the proper foot pounds. I hate to say this but, this is probably a job for a repair shop.

Barrel won't turn

by barrel I take it you are talking about spindle? This might be the version that has an internal clutch mechanism that would require you taking it in for service. If not there is a shear pin in the spindle that might need replaced. Hope this helps
