How do I get the printer to print the first check number first

I have preprinted checks that are in reverse order. When i place them face down in the printer, the last check is printed first and then my numbers are messed up in my accounting software.

    It looks like I have to order my checks in reverse order and then change the printing preference to "Back to front" and the check will print properly. The only problem now is that all my reports will print that way which will result in me having to shuffle the pages because the printer feeds out with the first page on the bottom.

    When you think about it, it doesn't seem logical because I would expect back to front to mean the last page would print first, but it means the exact opposite.

SOURCE: black ink does not print

i had the same problem. black stopped printing. i always used OFFICIAL HP cardridges, so this problem is not exclusive for refilled cardridges.

This solution (offered here) worked for me:
Reset the system by holding down the OK, Cancel, Black, and Color buttons down at the same time and turn the 3310 off. Keep holding the buttons down until the printer shuts off and the turn it back on. You will have to turn the printer off twice and then it will recalibrate. Make sure you have new cartiges in the printer so that it can reset.

I wanted to stress that you should make sure that:
1) you keep the the buttons down untill it shuts off;
2) on restart you get a notification of service;
3) to turn it off again after service before you turn it on for actual use.

Im getting paper jam printing on a toshiba bsx5

Check your label size, type of sensor and try to recallibrate the printer. In case of preprinted labels do as in the owners manual for preprints and select this function in the driver.

Reverse printing

Open your printers/faxes folder, right click the printer you want to change, select properties. In that window, click on printing preferences. Click on the next to last icon (should be an A with a red arrow going to an upside down A). On that screen is an option to reverse print. Click on it.

Thanks and please take a moment to rate as fixya.

Printing

Dear jamin4volks;

As per this excerpt from the Oki B4350 User manual:

"FACE UP AND FACE DOWN PRINTING
For face down printing, make sure the rear paper exit tray is closed (the paper exits from the top of the printer). The paper exit bin on the top of the printer stacks printed pages face down, capacity 150 sheets of 20 lb. paper. Pages printed in reading order (page 1 first) will be sorted in reading order (last page on top, facing down).

For face up printing, make sure the face up rear paper exit tray is open and the paper guide is extended if required. In this condition, paper will exit via this path, regardless of driver settings. Paper is stacked in reverse order, capacity 50 sheets of 20 lb. paper.

Always use this tray and the manual feed tray for heavyweight stocks to reduce the possibility of paper jams."

This manual is available at http://my.okidata.com/mandown.nsf/(MOC-B4350)/BE70FCAF93D577E285256E89005052F9?OpenDocument

Hope this helps;

Frank
