My Furby Dragon can talk yet has intermittant scratchy and distorted phrases followed by low . It can return to it's mixed Furbish-English vocabulary after these bouts. It doen't seem like another Furby that Ihave that only wants to go back to sleep. The Dragon seems to be quite alert and can function well except for the distorted phrases. Just wondering if a replaced speaker from a donor furby would fix this problem?

May be the "winding" on the speaker. If it has got damp at some point(you may not notice any on the casing) the cardboard tube that the coil is wound around swells and "rubs" in the speaker. Thus producing a scratching sound. Try connecting to another speaker, just to test and if it sounds fine then that is what it is.

Lookup serial number

The key might be on the manual or the box if its not on the cd.
Dragon Naturally Speaking is a software program designed by Nuance Communications that enables a user to speak instead of type to both transcribe information and control his computer. This is beneficial if you don't like typing or physically cannot do it.
The software requires a headset microphone to work and some configuration to get started. To continue using Dragon Naturally Speaking, you must register it or it disables itself.
Activation is done online and requires a product serial number.
The location of the serial number varies depending on the software version, but it should be located on the box, CD case or manual.

Start Dragon Naturally Speaking.
When it completes the loading process, click "Activate Now" when prompted and then click "Activate Automatically."
Enter the serial number in the space provided and click "Generate Activation Key."
Copy the activation key into the activation text box and click "OK" to activate Dragon Naturally Speaking.

After I loaded Microsoft Office 2010 onto my H.P. Pavilion p6210t Windows 7 Home Premium PC, my Dragon 10, natural speaking program no longer is functional. How can this be fixed/repaired. I am searching...

You could try installing Dragon on top of Office however, if that doesn't work sounds to me like there is a serious conflict here between your Dragon programme and MS Office. I would then type 'restore point' in the search box, select a time just before Office was installed and restore your system. Check it is working OK before trying again by installing Office manually without Microsofts speech recognition programme.
I hope that helps.

Have been told by numerous people that my headset sounds very garbled when I talk. If I turn it off and speak without the headset it's fine, so the problem is not the location. Sometimes, when I turn it...

Try deleting the headset from your phone's menu, turn your headset & phone off. Wait a few seconds then turn power your phone back up. Now try repairing the two and see if that makes a difference.

Good luck from Headsets Direct!

MY DRAGON NATURALLY SPEAKING 10-PROFESSIONAL DOES NOT WORK IN AOL EMAIL. IT WORKS WITH EVERY OTHER PROGRAM. BUT, WHEN I TRY TO DICTATE IN AOL EMAIL, NOTHING HAPPENS. ANYONE KNOW OF A SOLUTION?

Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 has not been tested to work with web based e-mail. It's also the same thing with Dragon Naturally Speaking 11 regardless of any version. As a work around and fix for this, if you want to use it through on any web based e-mail is to use the Dictation box.
Here are the simple steps to access the Dictation box:
1.Make sure you have successfully loaded a working user profile. 2.On the dragon bar, go to tools and then go to "Dictation Box" 3.Here, you can start dictating e-mail messages and use the "Transfer" button to transfer text in AOL E-mail.
I hope this solves your current problem.

My furbys voice wont work.

You would have to take a look inside and make sure wires are ok. Could simply be a lose wire to the speaker sort of deal. Hope this helps

Furby won't work

Have you tried restarting? It's different from resetting. You have to keep his tongue down (as if you're feeding him) while resetting. This worked for me when Furby didn't move, only made sound. Good luck! (If you still have it, it's May already)
