    i keep checking the wrong box. As I said in my description, I already bypassed the lid switch. In addition, my problems was not that my washer wouldn't spin but that it wouldn't stop.

SOURCE: Roper washing machine not going through rinse cycle.

Good Morning,
Sounds like your cold water valve is not opening. If you are handy with a Multimeter check the selector switch that you use to set your cold water for good continuity when you activate it. You should have a good steady reading on the meter. If the meter is fluctuating or has no reading at all the switch is bad. If the switch checks out good, check to see if there is voltage to the cold water valve terminals when the machine is calling for cold water. If there is no voltage, you will have to locate the relay or source that supplies this voltage and replace it. If there is voltage the valve is faulty and needs to be replaced.
I hope I helped you today.

My roper washing machine modelRA845KJQ have a fuse in it? I just stopped wrking mid wash..its full of water and will not work andwe repaced the motorand he coupling in it ndstill nohin and was wondering...

If its sitting dead... and you have no wash/fill/or spin.. I would tend to think timer. If the tub I full of water, reset the timer to wash... if it washes and then die's at the rinse... look at the lid switch.

My roper washing machine don't rinse on the rinse cycle, cold water will not come in the tub what do I need to do

That is most likely a timer but it may just be the timer connecting block is loose. This video shows how to access the timer so you can check the connection for corrosion. See if it might be loose.

How to take back off of a roper washing machine

Your washer does not have a belt! It operates on a "direct drive" concept. You could have an issue with one of the following:

* spin/lid switch

* drive coupling assembly

* timer

* motor

Contact an appliance service company.
