Question about Canon PowerShot SX10 IS Digital Camera

Not so clear coming from the camera

Hello,I have a power shot SX10IS and while I was taking championship shots (at a horse show) I must have hit a button that makes the photo's not as clear. Now I still have all photo's on the camera. Is there a way for me to be able to take these photo in the camera and make them clearer prior to downloading on the computer? If so then please give me explicit instructions as I am new to this camera and really frustrated at the moment. These photos were for sponsors. Your help immediately would be much appreciated. Kind regards,Andrea

What mode are you in ? try auto mode for starters. its entirely possible that the mode of the camera has shifted from auto to TV or P mode, and the base settings are making things fuzzy.

What are combining continuous photography camera buttons nikon d7000

Hello - The continuous button is for action shots and the camera will fall back into "lower definition' mode and take 3 5 or 7 photo's per second.
For example -- Tennis player hitting the ball , press continuous and you will have several pictures of them hitting the ball - and ONE of them will be the best shot.
It's not video as that is a continuous stream of 32 frames per second, but it's several JPEG per second. -- Ray

My Powershot SX10IS will no longer take pictures. I don't know why.It turns on and the picture shows in the viewer, but when the button is pressed to take the picture nothing happens. There is a movie...

The movie camera icon means that you have put it into video mode. I don't know how you do or undo that on your camera, but on my Canon there is a slide sitch that selects still shots, video clips, or review pictures taken.

Not Sure what's going on with my cam!

See if there is a little key on the shots that wont download. if there is the they have been protected and may be unlocked for transfer in you camera menu. as for you focus problem make sure you are pressing the shutter down halfway to lock the focus on your subject otherwise it will focus on any part of the picture.

Nikon d70 not showing shots in order as when i take them.

Camera uses time/date stamp of file to determine order, are these correct or do they show incorrect time? If not, then internal lithium battery needs replaced.

All action shots with S5000 are a complete blur...

I have the S5000 and have found that the shutter lag does present some problem with action shots. You do have to focus on the subject, & then hit the shutter just as it comes into the frame. As to the blur, have you tried shutter priority? I recently took a picture of my cousin's daughter jumping over a dog, & got the action perfectly. (I will be posting it in my gallery shortly - I don't remember offhand what the shutter speed was). Set the shutter speed to at least 1/500, or even faster depending on the subject.
