Question about Toshiba Satellite A60 Notebook

1 Answer

No Sound from Toshiba Satellite A60 - PSA60C - WM100E

I own the above laptop and cannot get any sound out of it to run my cds or DVDs. According to the Hardware Manager in the Control Panel, I don't have a sound card installed. There must be one installed and all I need is the right driver to install, correct?

Help pls.

Sice 2006: Thanks for the info but when I go to the site to look for a driver to download, I found one for my notebook, but should a driver be 22.1MBs?? That seems a bit extreme.

on page 4-29 (or 106 of the pdf) is where it talks about wireless. However on page 2-9 it talks about an orange glow to know your function is turned on. review the above manual and store for the future as I don't know who provides it.
