Question about Polaroid I533P Digital Camera
The camera was working just fine. We put it in a safe spot in my daughter's handbag which was never dropped or otherwise subjected to trauma. When we went to use it, you can see a medium sized black eye-shaped spot on the window while it's off; when you turn the camera on, the whole window is a light bluish color and that spot is a little darker bluish. I'm suspecting that somehow the chemicals in there have burst (if there are any) tho there are no cracks or other problems, but I can press gently on the area and it feels squishy. We've had the camera a little over a year and we've had no problems with it. Thanks!
It sounds like you've cracked the LCD display. These can be repaired, but it might cost too much to be economical. See if your local Jessops can give you a quote so you know what's what.
All the best, Typodave.
