In case you still need this, you can unlock your Motorola phone's bootloader following the instructions here:
Unlocking the Bootloader MOTOROLA Android Phones Motorola Mobility LLC

Make sure your phone can be bootloader unlocked here:
What devices are supported by the Bootloader Unlock program

You'll also need to install Motorola's drivers from here:
Software Drivers

Hope that gives you a good start...

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Is it possible to flash my Atrix 4G from 2.3.6 - 4.5.141 to 2.3.6 - 4.5.91 without bring it?

I'll post my experience/method that I did several times over on my 2 Atrix phones (Both AT&T)

Both phones had unlocked bootloader
I upgraded both phones via the Automatic Update (Motorola Website tool...it downloads the SBF and flashes it to your phone)
At that point you're at 141, stock, unrooted (I did this over unlocked bootloader)
Then I used the Automatic Bootloader Unlock 4.2 to do fastboot oem unlock
I root using preinstall method and restore from Titanium Backup

I have not run into any problems going to and from 141 with unlocked bootloader (I did not try going to FroYo but GB works fine)

Can I upgrade my defy to android 2.2 over the air directly to my phone?

Hello phonix114,
As long as the manufacturer has provided an OTA (Over-The-Air) Update, you are able to update your phone without connecting it to another device. Occasionally, these updates are rolled out in waves. Therefore, not every phone will get the OTA at the same time.
Android does suppose OTA so this should work just fine if there is a recent update available!
Hope this helps!

I have a LG-MS690, how do i update the android software to the latest edition.

You will either have to wait until your carrier releases an OTA (Over The Air) update or search for the .pak file (using google) that corresponds to your model. Your best bet is to wait for the OTA update. I know this can be frustrating but be patient and you will get the best result. For information of when the update will be available for your phone, contact your carrier.

My iphone says it is disabled and connect to itunes. how do i unblock it ?

did you put the password in wrong to many times. When an iphone gets disabled all you can do is put it in to restore mode and restore it you will lose all your data thats on the phone but if its backed up you can load it back on.If you had it unlocked do not update to the latest firmware or you will lose your ability to unlock, without changing your bootloader to the ipad one.
hope this helps

Unlock

I should first point out that there are other options to unlocking yourself, since this option is a bit more involved and can seriously mess up your phone:

1) You can get the unlock code from your provider for free if they are prepared to give it to you. If they are then that is the safest and best option.
2) For $25, you can use TheMotoGuide's unlocking solution which is instant and guaranteed.

That being said, here's directions on how to unlock the phone yourself:

*You need to downgrade your boot loader to 7.D0, be aware that this can be risky.

* You may find afterwards that when starting in bootloader you have only a blackscreen, so long as the phone works ok and you can connect in bootloader that is nothing to worry about

* Ensure your phone is fully charged before starting. I recommend before beginning you first make a backup of your phone as described in the back it up section. Especially the PDS back up. This assumes all necessary drivers are already installed.

1) Start in bootloader mode (hold # and * while powering on)
2) Identify your current bootloader (e.g. 8.26 or 7.E0)

3) If you already have bootloader 7.D0 skip to step 6

4) Download bl_826-828_to_07d0_for_V3_by_Archy.V2
5) Flash with this file using RSD Lite (described at the Flashing and Flexing section)

6) Download and extract the MOTO UNLOCKER SOFTWARE
7) Start in bootloader mode (hold # and * while powering on). In bootloader mode after the downgrade it is not unusual for the phone to show a blank black screen with no info, don't worry, though, it is still in bootloader mode!
8) Open up Moto Unlocker and connect you phone

9) Run Moto Unlocker click connect and yes! Once finished it will look like this:

Congratulations, your Motorola Razr V3 is now unlocked

I'm getting a bootloader usb init screen

Your phone is partly fried. It needs to be re-flashed. You can do it with a USB cable and the proper software....Google "bootloader USB" for some help in finding the software. One thing to try, hold down the "*" and "#" keys while powering up the phone, this could possibly help, but I doubt it.

Good Luck!!!

Unlock iphone 3g running on firmware 3.1.2 with 05.12.01 baseband and bootloader 06.02

iOS 3.1.2 is obsolete already. You can still jailbreak and unlock with the latest iOS 4.0.1. You just need to update thru iTunes and read my guides on jailbreaking and unlocking on the following links:
