Check the fuse by plugging a lamp in the duplex outlet, turn the lamp on and try to start the unit. If the lamp does not light you have a tripped breaker or blown fuse. If it dims when you turn on the washer you have a wiring problem.

If you get here you need to see if the water is on and the hose strainers are clean. Listen for the solenoid to buzz, if not you probably have an electrical problem with it.

After you get this far please post in the appropriate area for more help.

Very high idle after the engine is warmed up

Have a fault reading done to determine the sensors that have failed. Could be a MAF/MAP sensor problem or an ambient air temp sensor.

We have a Westinghouse Laundromat 800 (7Kg)that overflows. It appears that the when it fills itself with water (hot or cold) it does not automatically close the valves(?). Can you please help. Thanks.

Hi just read your posting. Now try this.Select only cold water fill and start cycle, then when you hear water entering your machine turn the power off at the wall. The water should stop filling straight away.If it does try the same test on your hot water. If either of the valves are faulty it should continue to fill after you have turned the power off to the machine. Please reply and tell me if the hot or cold water did not stop or if they both stopped. Please try the test on hot and cold a couple of times to be sure.Looking forward to your reply.
