Remove supply hose to make sure they are not clogged. Check screens on suupply to machine ( place where you removed hoses) to make sure they are not clogged. If clear then probably solenoid is bad.

Yamaha breeze solinoid clicking but no spark

Sorry. the solenoid has nothing to do with a spark... the solenoid is a "power upper relay switch" for the starter ONLY!
I need more info.. have you taken out the spark plug and placed it against the head (metal to metal contact) and tried to get a spark?
Will the engine turn over with the starter? Does the solenoid click and not turn the engine over?

please repost with more info.

My 2000 yamaha 1600 clicks when I try to start it

The clicking may be the starter solenoid. Check for a dead battery or defective solenoid.

My 2006 r6 starter relay clicks like a dead battery and my bike wont start and my starter just spins my motor wont turn

Hi, Anonymous the starter drive/Bendix/clutch is a mechanical gear driven component that engages the clutch pack ring gear to turn over the engine. It has an internal mechanism that allows the gear to turn in one direction and once the engine starts allows the drive gear to free spin. If gear free spins in both directions then the drive gear has failed, it is not serviceable and needs to be replaced. 2008 mitsubishi lancer gts..one day the battery died, jumped the car, went to local auto parts store. they checked the battery and it was dead. bought new battery. engine light came on with a p0725 code...

are the connections to your battery firm? it sounds like one may be lose - the clicking sounds you hear are from the starter solenoid and should only click once but if it does it again and your battery terminals are tight im thinking your solenoid on the starter motor may well be on the way out.. hope not for ya but... did you replace your engine speed sensor? If it keeps going you may need to see a reputable mechanic in your area to check it over... lancers are good cars but...

Makes a clicking noise when you turn the key, but it does not start

Possibly the starter solenoid clicking. Check the connections on the starter. Should have a small lead on it for the solenoid operation, and a bigger cable from the battery. check that these are tight. Failing that, Try turning the key while rocking the car side to side or by getting a helper to lightly tap the starter with a jack handle. If it starts then, your starter is on the way out ! Good luck.

My 2001 Yamaha R1 has an issue. I put the key in and turn it on, everything lights up fine, but when I press the start button nothing happens.

If you push the starter button and hear a click the starter button is good. If you do not hear a click, put power to the two skinny solenoid activation wires(+ and -), if you hear a click now you have a bad starter button. Clean or replace the switch. Follow the positive battery cable to the solenoid, short across the battery power cable and the starter power cable. If the starter works you need a new solenoid. If you tap on the starter with a plastic hammer while holding the starter button, and it works, you need new starter brushes. If you take the starter apart and the coils are burnt or the armature is shorted you need a new starter.

I have a gs500f and sometimes I press the start button and I get a loud click, if I press it several times (more clicks) then the engine turns over. Sometime I have to bump start. But most times it starts...

Check the connections on both ends of the wire from the battery to the starter solenoid and on both ends of the wire from the solenoid to the starter. You have a loose or dirty connection somewhere in the large wires that feed the starter. The sound you are hearing is the solenoid clicking in. There is a remote possibility that the solenoid is bad (dirty inside) and if all the wires are good that's where I would go next.

When i try to start it it makes a clicking noise from this little black thing under the seat

that clicking sound is normal, its the starter solenoid... not sure if your bike wont start, but if thats the case try charging up your battery, it might be that it just doesnt have enough juice to spin the starter motor
