Led very dull after a few months of use.i had a brand new h14r to swap batteries, powerpacks, etc. around....isolated it down to the led. Well...the fault is from the connection lead forward to the actually front part of the h14 (the led/lense assembly). Any ideas whats gone wrong? i'know of at least one other h14r that's done exactly the same thing.

It uses a LG display panel & it has a common problem that burn out LED diodes.
To fix:
1. Change all of the strip at once & use new one.
2. Replace the power supply.

unlikely as the light is an LED with a draw of milliamps
on a good battery it will last around 12 months before it would draw down the battery
you have a bigger drain somewhere else, glove box light, boot light , relay not shutting off, radio amplifier etc

take it back for a replacement if it brand out of the box new

get the new charger; and consider returning to store or manufacturer.
if you have the black charger, throw it out
you need the green/two-tone charger for ryobi one 18v

I had the same problem. all the service reset would only make the display come on for a few second with no "k" on the screen - only the channel would show up. I purchased a complete set of board for the lcd on ebay, and started swapping them one by one. The inverter boards were the culpret. Tele working 100% since that board swap.

Does the scooter actually lose power after the 3 leds show ?

If it is losing power then a suggest to try some other batteries to confirm dodgy batteries, check the terminal connections etc.

If it does not lose power then the volt meter is at fault, if you can check the voltage before riding then after it shows only 3 leds , if there is a big drop, check the charger first to make sure the batteries are getting fully charged.

LED flashing is unable to charge

First off, put in brand new batteries. Not just batteries that are kind of new, i mean BRAND SPANKING NEW batteries right out of the packet.

If you still have a problem:

~hold down the DVD-VCR button-> the red led will stay lit.

~holding down the DVD-VCR button press the number 2 --> the red led will turn off

~Release the DVD-VCR button--> the red led blinks 4 times and turns off.

check the solder around the area of the vertical IC. solder is either cracked or else cold. Cold solder appears as dull. Resolder anything that isnt shiny.
