SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: bra wire stuck somewhere in machine

You will not see it as it is trapped between the inner and outer drum, what you need to do is remove rear panel and the large hose from the pump to the bottom of the drum,
Then reach in with your fingers and see if you can feel it , if you can't then short of removing the drum (not recommended) ther is not a lot you can do, hopefully it will find it's way into the filter, where it wiil not be a problem
Plz rate this solution.

SOURCE: do you have a wiring

http://www.washerhelp.co.uk/diy-repair-safety.html
http://www.servicematters.com/maytag_library/docs/16022808.pdf
Above is a generic washer although the wiring won't be exact, it still will be relevant, and eminently transposable to this make. If you simply perform the troubleshooting procedures no doubt you would be able to isolate and hopefully repair your problem

Hope this is helpful, i could find little on your exact modle.

SOURCE: I have a Hoover 500MB

Hi
It seems that something is stuck and you'll have to remove the agitator to clean it. I f this is an old style washer, then it should have a bolt under the cap that must be removed to remove the agitator, then grab hold of the agitator and lift up. If it's a not too old then the agitator just pulls out, remove cap, if no bolt, just grab hold and lift up hard...picture.Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

My hoover 500mb 5.0kg washing machine fills up fine at start of cycle then just washes for a bit then just stats to fill up and wont stop till I stop it

I had a similar problem and not sure whether my solution would help you.It was to do with the position of the waste pipe.It should raised about 2ft. ,looped before discharged into the washing machine tee.when the discharge hose is lying on the floor there's a possibility that the water is filling up and going straight out.By raising it you are letting it fill up and presumably triggering the water level sensor.Hope this helps.

My machine seams to go slow with a light load 500mb h/duty

500mb from memory was a Hoover top loader ??? It could be just the belt slipping underneath, but also have a look inside the drain pump hoses for blockages. These were notorious for blocking with coins and other foreign objects. . If the machine couldnt pump out properly, when it went onto spin, it would only go very slow as the machine wasnt able to build up any speed with a full load of clothes and water.

HOOVER 500MB WASHING MACHINE

the pump hose has to be above tub level or the water will run out
the dial control unit is faulty and if the parts are are available will cost up to $150.00 aud approx to buy
the leak under the machine could be from a tub to pump hose or water level hose up to sensor
how new is almost new as it seems you have inherited a lemon and not a working machine
