Question about Televison & Video
I was working on convergence in service mode. I decided to reset the red and blue. I'm not saying it's the cause, but I've been working on the tv for weeks, I was working n the convergence settings. For days now, everytime I turn on the tv, it automatically starts with setup procedures. I turn on the tv as normal, not service menu, and it automatically asks me to choose english, french, or some other language. I g thr the setup procedure. Everything is fine. I power it off and turn it back again, and the setup starts again. Sounds like a setting, how can I fix it?

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Cant realign the color on my tv
It is probably the convergence Power supply usually mounted above the main boards below. Most of them use a STK730-010 amp that is usually the problem, if not some used a little FET instead. It seems that PCB is available probably listed as a power supply rather than a convergence bd though

SOURCE: Samsung HC-P4752W No Color
Do not automatically think you need to go into the service menu. I bet you 100 to 1 that you pulled out a plug or a connector somewhere OR one is not seated into the plug all the way. If the set worked with color before you messed with it, there is not a problem in the service menu. The service menu is not the fix all thing. it is there to make fine alignments and adjustments, and as a matter of fact, messing with a service menu even with the service manual is very dangerous. I have seen peeps ruin TV sets by messing around with the service menu alignments. STAY out of these alignments. they are not going to fix a problem that all of a suddenly comes up. Repair the problem in the circuit first. Good Luck

You have a bad sensor, a bad digital convergence board, or the new board is not working correctly. I would start by swaping out the convergence board or exchange it for another one. Good Luck

Whenever a component in a device is replaced it must replaced with the original part, unless the manufacture says differently.
TV sets have minute control voltages which in turn control something else - in an analog/rear projection they control larger voltages for example. It all has to do with resistors, transistors, capacitors, etc. which make up the circuits.
So even though this might appear to work I guarantee your set is not up to spec.
