The part of the frig that seperates freezer from frig is very hot and smells like its burning cn this be ossible it is not seperate from the entire body of the frig

Sounds as if the evaporator fan has shaft play or the blades are out of balance or striking something. When you open the door the pressure is equal but with the door closed the fan needs to push the air through the evaporator and return again and circle through fan again. I think soon would be a good time to unplug the refrigerator and remove the back panel covering the evaporator and fan motor to inspect the fan, shaft play and the evaporator for frost buildup or any obstruction of air flow. I need you to check a couple things for me before we go to far. Is frost building up in freezer back panel? Are all fans inside and outside of the refrigerator. That refrigerator has a control board and we may need to have a look at it. The control board is AP4139120

I know that model very well and I would like to know how long you have owned it and will you or can you find someone that can perform some electrical test fo you. When Samsung made that brand they made a major mistake on the defrost heater elements. They were woven into the evaporator coil. If less that 5 years old it should fall under sealed parts warranty. When I look at a refrigerator from here there are so many possibilities of what is going on that I ask that this is not where to rate my solution. I see that you mentioned the digital controls but are they visible or gone whacked out? Sea Breeze

Verify that the compressor fan is working. The fan is located behind the unit at the bottom. You need to remove tha back panel and observe that the fan is working while the compressor is running.
