SOURCE: I have a ceiling fan

I can offer resources:

1) Test switch that was removed, and test for hot connection to narrow down options.

What speed was fan stuck in when switch was removed? Let's say medium speed.
Which connection at fan is hot? Use voltage tester to find hot connection at fan, and match that up with wire-color on switch that was removed.
One and only one wire on 3-speed fan switch connects to hot. And the hot wire is the only wire that connects to each other wire as switch cycles through pull-chain sequence. All pull chain switches follow same sequence: off, low, medium, high.
Let's say old switch was stuck in medium, and you know which color wire connects to hot.
Test switch with continuity tester to see which wire(s) have continuity with hot wire: some switches, it will be 2 wires, and other switches it will be 1 wire. Match where wire(s) were connected, and map that to tests on new switch.

2) Open following link for illustrations and some other links.

What are the lyrics of Goodbye Little Bird?

GOOD-BYE, LITTLE YELLOW BIRD (from "The Picture of Dorian Gray") Lyrics by Charles William Murphy - Music by William Hargreaves Angela Lansbury and the MGM studio orchestra The snow was very plentiful, And crumbs were very few When a weather-beaten sparrow Through a mansion window flew. Her eye fell on a golden cage; A sweet love song she heard, Sung by a pet canary there, A handsome yellow bird. He said to her: "Miss Sparrow, I've been struck by Cupid's arrow. Would you share my cage with me?" She looked up at his castle, with its ribbon and its tassel, and in a plaintive tone said she: "Good-bye, little yellow bird. I'd rather brave the cold On a leafless tree Than a prisoner be In a cage of gold. The spoiled and petted yellow bird Could scarce believe it true That a common sparrow should refuse A bird with blood so blue. He told her the advantages Of riches and of gold. She answered that her liberties For gold could not be sold. She said "I must be going." But he cried "No, no, its snowing, And the wintry winds do blow. Stay with me, my little dearie, For without you 'twould be dreary." But she only sighed "Ah, no." "Good-bye, little yellow bird. I'd gladly mate with you - I love you, little yellow bird, But I love my freedom, too. So good-bye, little yellow bird. I'd rather brave the cold On a leafless tree Than a prisoner be In a cage of gold."

Rear door beltline trim removal

Pull the panel around the outer periphery there are bird beak plastic retainers holding the panel to the inner door metal. You will have to give it a slight jerk with hand or purchase a tool at the local auto store to slid under the panel in the clip area. You can buy birds beak retainers at the auto store if you break them.

Can i put human food scraps in my bird feeder?

1) Kitchen scraps are generally fed to larger birds such as ducks and gulls. Because birds who eat from birdfeeders are generally much smaller, you should tear the food scraps into very small pieces so they can fit into very small beaks. Monitor the birdfeeder after a couple of days, and if the food is still there, it means the birds don't like it.

Does perch size matter?

Yes. It is a good idea to get your bird a variety of perch sizes. Smaller perches allow for a better grip resulting in increased exercise, while larger perches will help trim your bird's nails and beaks.

I hav a 95 berrta and im tying to put a head unit

Hello chrisuftring,

Here's a link to the wiring color code for the '95 Chevy Beretta.

You'll need to match the function of each wire from your head unit and the color code for that would be in your manual. Most aftermarket units are somewhat standard as far as power, accessory, ground, and speaker connections are concerned. But the wiring colors may be different for such leads as remote, power antenna, illumination, dimmer, and muting.

An Alpine head unit has the following wiring colors:
Blue - Power Antenna
Blue/White - Remote
Pink/Black - Audio Interrupt (muting)
Orange - Illumination
Red- Switched 12V+
Yellow - Constant 12V+
Black - Ground
Gray - RF Speaker (+)
Gray/Black - RF Speaker (-)
White - LF Speaker (+)
White/Black LF Speaker (-)
Violet - RR Speaker (+)
Violet/Black RR Speaker (-)
Green - LR Speaker (+)
Green/Black - LR Speaker (-)

With this head unit, you would wire Yellow to Orange, Red to Yellow, Black to Black, Orange to Gray, Blue to Pink, Gray to Light Green, Gray/Black to Dark Green, White to Tan, White/Black to Gray, Violet to Dark Blue, Violet/Black to Light Blue, Green to Brown, and Green/Black to Yellow.

Note that there are 2 "yellow" wires in your vehicle color code. You'll have to test them to determine which one is the accessory wire and which one goes to the left rear speaker. Using a 12V "test light" is the simplest. Connect one side of the light to ground. With the ignition ON probe the yellow wires. One of them should light the tester, the other one won't. Verify that the light goes out when the ignition is OFF and your have separated the redundant "yellows". The one that lit the tester is your 12V+ switched wire and the other one goes to the left rear speaker.

Hope this helps.
