Malfunction detected, please call Tech Rep. C3451

Machine is brand new and a power outage over the weekend has prompted the red light to come on and tells us to call your mechanical service tech. Any suggestions.

Here's the reset procedure.

1. Turn OFF the Main Power Switch.
2. Turn Main Power Switch ON again while pressing the Utility/Counter key more than
10 seconds after.
3. Touch [Trouble Reset].
4. Check to make sure that [OK] is displayed and the it has been reset.
5. Turn off the Main Power Switch and turn it on again more than 10 seconds after, and
make sure that the machine properly starts.

And yes, a power outage could cause this.

C3451 Heat. heater trouble • The heating roller thermistor/1 (TH1) fails to raise
a given degree of temperature even after the
lapse of a given period of time after the Heating
roller heater lamp/1 (H1) is turned ON.
• When the warm up started and the highest temperature
and the lowest temperature of the heating
roller thermistor/1 (TH1) are compared for the
specified period of time, the difference of these
two is either lower than the specified value or at
the specified value or over.
• During the warm up, if the counted value for zero
cross signal input is not modified for the specified
period of time, the zero cross signal error will be
counted. This malfunction will be detected when
the counted value exceeds the specified value.

BASICALLY THE FUSER HAS NOT WARMED UP TO TEMPERATURE, YOU MAY BE ABLE TO RESET IT BY TURNING IT OFF THEN BACK ON OTHERWISE YOU HAVE TO RESET IT IN SERVICE MODE WHICH I CAN ADVISE IF POSS.

If it is brand new then a power outage should not have knocked it off its perch

Konica would normally have safeguards built into the machine so that it re-boots after a power failure.

Call Konica and ask if there is a re-boot sequence to follow before you start delving into any controls

Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

We had a power outage and since my tv does nothing, a tiny red light says standby but nothing changes.

Sounds like The main power supply regulator section circuit fault. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. http://electro-medical.blogspot.com/
It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

Mitsubishi 73"DLP wd-73638 won't turn on after power outage or getting unplugged

In most cases, this can be due to curropted software [firmware]. Contact the authoriized service center for Mitsubishi. Please do not try to update the software by yourself. It is a very skilled work to this set. Gopakumar Gopalan Google

Maytag MAH4000AWW Neptune washer

A machine that old...after the cost of a service visit...you're better off letting it R.I.P. But...if it happened after a power failure, chances are a power surge knocked it out. I would call a service tech if you would like to persue with repairs.

There was a power outage in the building and now the tv will not come on. The red power light is flashing, that is the only response I get, no picture, no green power light, just flashing red power light,...

You will most likely need a tech to repair the power supply.

You could contact a BIG name repair group, But if you can find a guy like me,

you could get it repaired for the less than $10 costing part it needs and a very fair
labor charge. Us unemployed guys give good deals.

I would do it if you were close.
Toshiba is a notoriously good fix.
Very worth it.
You need a tech.

After a power outage, my wii will not turn on

You can try a new AC adapter. If that does not work,it will need to be repaired by a Nintendo authorized center.(I used to work at one).If you do by a new one PLEASE buy Nintendo brand. The "off" brands usually end up in some kind of problem down the road.
Good luck and agme on!

After a power outage, the tv wont turn all the way on,the blue light keeps blinking.why?

hello, if you have a blinking light this means theres a voltage drop or failure causing a circut fault some where inside, you need to find a service manual for your set or have it checked out by a tech. there are high voltages and live circuts inside so if your attempting a fix on your own be aware of this and get a service manual it will tell you according to the blinks whats the trouble or what part to replace or service. hope this helps.
