Question about Computers & Internet

Open Question

Livingsocial com Why did this happen? I bought a special on living social for Air duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning. purchase date was Jan 17,2014. The expiration date is May 28 2014. When I pulled up my voucher information to get the information to set up my appointment, the voucher said the voucher was used on April 8,2014. that is not true. I have not used the voucher! I can not find a telephone number for Air Ductors in the phone directory or on the voucher. I have no way to contact them to straighten out this mess. I am very upset about this, and if it is not rectified, I will take further action. It reflects sorely on your company. I want answers or a credit back to my credit card. that is another concern. you and they have my account information and have used it to bill me. My Home phone is 804-672-7733 and cell 804-869-7733. Do not use these telephone numbers for any purpose other than to resolve this inquiry. Respectfully, Judith Hill

SOURCE: Disabled account since Wednesday Last week

I am including a link to the Facebook terms page. Unfortunately, Facebook does reserve the right to close any account they wish based on the terms and policies stated. One common mistake that I have seen, and had some close friends make, is use a nickname for their name on Facebook. Because of this, Facebook disabled their accounts and I believe they had to create a new account with their real name.

Sorry for the frustration. All I can say is, keep trying to contact Facebook or create a new account, and reread the terms so this doesn't happen again.

SOURCE: I am trying to purchase

There is a problem in your payment account of the facebook due to the misuse of your account detected by a certain automated system of a facebook.
please visit the link below
http://www.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=payments_activity\
in which there would be contact us type of some tab where you can describe your further problem and solve it by the facebook expert as this might be also a type of mishandling of a website maintenance.

SOURCE: I am unable get credits

Hello,

Since facebook deliberately disabled your payment function, I don't think you or anyone else would be able to activate the account except facebook. The payment function was disable for security reasons.

You need to contact facebook by filling the form on the below link. Under the "Description and steps to reproduce the issue" aspect of the form, type in that you want your payment function to be enable/activated.

http://www.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=credits_cc_1042

You will receive a response within a very short period of time.

Good luck.

Dryer says check filter and it is clean

Air flow in the duct work is restricted... and the dryer sensor thinks that the filter is clogged.

You will need to take a fluffy cleaning wand and, with the filter removed, try loosening up some of the accumulated line in the duct.

Next, remove the lint pipe from the wall connector and try cleaning it and the pipe for as much distance as you can reach.

Finally, go outside and check the vent. It needs to be clean and clear of obstructions... also, needs to close when the machine is off.
You can do testing on the outside vent with "air dry" setting - hot air is not required... Keep cleaning ductwork until the outside vent passes air freely.

After air flow is restored, the sensor in the "VENT" alarm will act nice.....and stay off

Heater works but clothes do not dry. Very little air flow from vent

Sounds as if there is something (lint buildup maybe) that is blocking the air flow inside this machine. You need to remove the top and front of this machine so you can view in internal working parts. Clean it out the best you can and also remove the rear cover and check where the fan blade is located and this general area. I have seen rats nests built inside the tubes that will block air flow and create a fire hazard.

The dryer rotates but does not heat, I can reset the button on the back but have to with each use

, your vent duct is probably obstructed (it happens over time). If your model is the type where you could feel air if you removed the lint trap, do so and turn the dryer on. If you get warm air there, you know it is in the ducting, in the back of the machine, or at the wall vent. Pull off your duct, and give it a good cleaning. Clean out the back of the machine, and the wall vent. When you reinstall the ducting, minimize any twists and turns possible.
If the coils are good, but you get no heat, the problem may be the thermostat or the switch.

Electric dryer keeps shutting off...

Be sure that there is a LOT of air coming out outdoors first. If there is, the hi limit thermostat is now defective from the abuse of your fire hazard, I mean clogged vent. (same thing) If not, the vent is still not clean enough. If it's flexible duct, replace it with solid duct. You could also have a clogged up lint screen, (fabric softeners commonly clog the screen) or the fan in the dryer may also be clogged up.

Dryer Heats - Drum Turns - Clothes Don't Dry - Dryer Seems To Over Heat

Before ripping into the dryer, with the dryer running, check the vent outside. There should be a rather strong air flow. I'll bet you have little or maybe no air flow. Check behind the dryer to make sure you don't have squished flex duct. If you have flex pipe, try running the dryer for a few minutes with the dryer pulled out into the room to stretch the vent out, and check outside airflow again. Try to eliminate all or as much of the flex stuff as you can, replacing it with aluminum dryer vent pipe. (tape joints with foil duct tape) Clean out remaining dryer vent. (there are special brushes you can buy to clean out vents, but they really only work on ridgid pipe.)

Dryer takes too long to dry

This complaint is most often caused by the dryer's vent being blocked with lint. Dryers need to be properly vented, otherwise the moisture in the air can't be properly carried away. Vents that go out the roof are particularly problematic-- the dryer may take far too long to dry clothes and the vent pipe may even drip water that can't be exhausted. Minimum size for a dryer's roof vent is 4 inches. If your dryer has chronically poor drying, if possible, have the vent moved to where it exits a house wall near the dryer. The vent should be made of 4-inch aluminum rigid duct and elbows or, where absolutely necessary, flexible metal (but not flexible thin foil). Do not use flexible plastic duct-- it restricts air flow and is combustible. The dryer should vent outside--never into a crawl space, wall, ceiling chimney, or other type of flue. The bottom of the exhaust hood should be located at least 12 inches above the ground. Here is what to do: 1) Check the lint trap and clean it. 2) Be sure the dryer isn't pushed so close to the wall that it pinches off the airflow through the vent's air duct hose. 3) Check the point where the air duct vents away from the house. Be sure plants, birds, or anything else hasn't blocked it. If the duct vents out the roof, it could easily be blocked with lint. 4) Disconnect the air duct hose from the back of the gas dryer and clean out built-up lint. Note: For safety, first turn off the gas to the dryer, then unplug the dryer; this means you will have to re-light the pilot light later if the dryer has one (read your owner?s manual for proper re-lighting techniques). 5) If necessary, clean out the ductwork from the dryer to the exterior wall where it vents; this may involve disconnecting sections. One trick that sometimes makes this job easier (but only if the dryer duct is fastened firmly at all connection points) is to blow lint and debris through the duct and out the exterior wall vent, using an electric leaf blower.
