Your version has a Dynamic Controls model controller and joystick. Unplug the charger and engage the motor/brake lever so the chair is no longer in free-wheel mode (con't push by hand) Turn the chair off, wait 5 seconds, turn the chair back. If chair still does not run and your wrench is flashing you have a problem. Count the wrench flashes - the flash count indicates the error detected. 3, 4, 5, and 6 flashes indicate and error with the motors. 3=Left motor fault 4=Right motor fault 5=Left brake fault (may not be engaged) 6=Right brake fault (may not be engaged) Any other fault code usually means the electronics or wiring is bad and not worth fixing.
The 2nd digit in the serial number will identify the YEAR is was manufactured. The first two numbers, following that digit, will determine the WEEK (52 weeks in a year). This same information applies to all your other Whirlpool appliances.
If you have any questions, please post back and let me know. I hope this helps you.
How old are the batteries? If you've had them for a few years it might be time to change them. Even if batteries are charged correctly they eventually lose power with use and need to be changed. Here is a link to the battery needed for the Jazzy 1113 http://www.replacementupsbattery.com/UB12350-NB.html
well in the good old USA if you have a 16 digit VIN number then the 10th digit will always denote the model year of the vehicle and that applies to all vehicles with a 16 digit VIN. The coding for them simply starts with the letter H and they leave out a few choice letters such as I O Q Z and then it starts into numbers after Y and honestly after the year 2009 Im not sure what they have gone to as Im not currently working in a dealership anymore, however here is a chart that I made to help ya get it figured out. Good luck and enjoy your summer. h = 1986 j = 1987 k = 1988 l = 1989 m = 1990 n = 1991 p = 1992 r = 1993 s = 1994 t = 1995 u = 1996 v = 1997 w = 1998 x = 1999 y = 2000 1 = 2001 2 = 2002 3 = 2003 4 = 2004 5 = 2005 6 = 2006 7 = 2007 8 = 2008 9 = 2009
Pride doesn't make a Jazzy 115. Please check your chair and owners manual to get the correct model so we can help. How old is the chair? The flash codes you are getting depend on the model, year it was born, and the tkype of controller installed.
Also, the flash code should be literally, flashes. 2 lights flash twice, stop, then go again, etc. They all mean something, so repost with more info please.
