Point your web browser at http://www.gmail.com

If another account comes up, sign out of it by clicking the avatar in the upper-right then clicking "Sign out."

If you then still can't sign in to your account, click the "Need help?" link on the sign-in page.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

You can use the following link to reset your password. You will have to answer security questions to get back in to your account.

What is my googlemail account login?

Dear "Bill" William Patterson,

You are probably a nice guy, but you're incredibly naive. Never but NEVER publish email addresses to a permanent webpage, at least addresses you wish to continue using, as it will likely turn into a Spam City as soon as the robots harvest them, or worse!

That plus the Gmail information you have giving is just too damned risky. I believe you have compromised all three accounts with these revelations, and potentially opened yourself up to identity theft.

Just go open a NEW Gmail account. Maybe you'll get lucky and simply try to use the same name to sign up with as you used before. At that point you'll be able to recover it.

Can't get in mail box

Is it possible you are typing your gmail account name wrong? When logging in, you dont have to type @gmail.com from a google page. Try that and post back, to see where we can go from there.

Most of my emails have gone missing, can they be retrieved.

Hi and welcome to FixYa!

Common reasons for missing emails;

Settings applied to incoming mail, such as a filter or forwarding

A configuration issue with IMAP1 or POP2 access

Deliberate or accidental human action, or possibly a compromised account

check all of your folders, trash, all mail, forwarding and POP/IMAP settings, and check your filters to make sure nothing is being stopped.

If you've deleted a message permanently, by clicking Delete Forever in your Spam or Trash, you won't be able to recover the message using the Gmail interface.

If you've moved a message to Trash, by clicking Delete, but it's been fewer than 30 days and you haven't permanently deleted it, follow these steps to put it back in your inbox:
  1. Sign in to Gmail.
  2. Click Trash along the left side of any Gmail page. (If you don't see Trash along the left side of your Gmail page, go to the Labels tab in Settings, then click the show link next to the Trash label.)
  3. Locate the message you'd like to move to your inbox, and check the box next to the sender's name.
  4. Click Move to Inbox.
If you feel that someone has been in your gmail, you can test this and see if someone from another IP has been in your mail! ( i really like gmail for so many reasons)

When you sign into your Gmail, look all the way down on the bottom right. It will show recent activity and IP addresses that have accessed your mail. You can also sign up for 'alerts' to unusual activity/sign ins from here.

Hope this helps.

I helped a friend set up a new gmail account from my computer. We were successful. But now every time I click on email, my friend's account comes up and I can't seem to get back to my own...

Hello,

It sounds like the internet browser you are using saved his login information. Go to Gmail and when you are inside his account you can log off by going to the top right of Gmail and clicking the profile name. You should get a drop down box. Select "sign out". Once it signs out of his account you should be back at the login screen. You can now enter your login information.

Please comment back if you have any questions.

Regards,
G33k

Can i get alert to my mobile when someone tries to access my gmail account?

Yes, now it is possible to get an sms if someone tries to access your gmail account. Just go to your gmail account settings and enable "using 2-step verification". After enabling this feature you can't login to your gmail account only using correct password. You need your mobile phone or you have to use some other recovery options. even if someone knows ur account password they can't login without your mobile, and also u ll get an secret code when someone tries to login with your correct password....
