No power. Put in new fuse by battery and started right up. sat for a week and wont start again. Battery is fully charged. tried another new fuse

Hi, Traci and the usual suspects are:
1. Ignition Switch not in the "ON" position.
2. Engine Run Switch in the "OFF" position.
3. Discharged battery, check battery terminals for damage or corrosion, check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
4. Bank angle sensor tripped and ignition/light key switch not cycled to the "OFF" position and then back to the "ON" position.
5. Security alarm needs a reset.
6. Starter control circuit, relay, or solenoid faulty.
7. Faulty starter button.
8. Electric starter shaft pinion gear is not engaging or over-running starter clutch slipping.
Good luck and have nice a day.

When i turn on the ignition, nothing happens

If it was the battery or a fuse it would just click, but if it doesn't click then the starter relay may be bad. Could be a wire in the switch also.

2006 jeep liberty turn switch on and have power.starter and battery gd but wont turn over wont even click

the tests are all easy,
check fuses first, on all electric fails, starter ,charge and EFI are all electric systems.

super easy.
  1. jumper cable cranked with donor running car work?
  2. yes, battery is dead, or only discharged, charge it work?
  3. yes jumps but charge fails, bingo battery toast.
  4. so the jumper fails. in #1 , all that is a bad starting system. (not a part, the system)
  5. clean battery lugs. check fuses, and then hot wire the starter solenoid lug (dinky lug ,not huge one) (in park and wheels chocked keys off)
  6. ok that fails the starter is bad.
  7. ok that works. so the KEY line is dead. try starting in neutral yet?> bingo works, bad PRNDL switch on tranny side.
  8. the KEY line can be interrupted with some alarms, on a jeep it has Immobilizer that cuts fuel not cranking. so.... PRNDL switch bad or the key switch is self .
  9. Using any voltmeter to do the checks is a WIN. 12.6vdc is a charged battery is yours 12.6v rested/???????????

Where are the fuses in 2005 fatboy

Fuses are located under the seat, in back of the battery, between the battery and the ECM connector. They are under a removable plastic cover. Try charging the battery to get rid of the clicking. Sounds like you may have enough juice to activate the starter solenoid, but not enough to crank the starter.

Craftsman 19.5 briggs & stratton mower new battery, new solenoid new brushes on starter. fuse & wiring good shape. when i attemp to start ignition all it does is click.

Check the voltage on the battery to see if it is 12 volts or higher. If not, charge battery.

Then check all starting-related electrical connections-- sounds like there is a dirty connection somewhere if the battery is charged.
