Civil war in which country? I'm sure civil war occurred in almost every country. If it is AMERICA then it's because of SLAVES and non slaves. Oh and also states versus federal rights and economic differences and so on. Please be more specific in your question. Hope this helps.

How do I make the watch band smaller?

to adjust the size of your wrist...eat chocolate!
most watches with linked wristbands require the links removing.(small pins to b e pushed out) the type with the chain links usually have a clamp to release to slide the clasp up the band. the instructions should be with the watch manual. or ask a jeweler to help.

please post pictures if need more help so i can see the design

Adjust bracelet on sea spider?

Thank you for contacting FIxYa.
I suggest you take your watch to a reputable local jeweler for sizing. Expect to pay a nominal fee (around $5) for this service. Do not attempt to size your own watch! You may damage or scratch the watch and bracelet. The liability is yours.
If you still decide to do, follow instructions given here:
http://www.webwatches.co.uk/how_to.htm
Best wishes.
