Make sure you connected wires right both on player and tv. There are Two ways to connect it.
1. Use 3 wires: white, red, yellow. White and red are for audio and yellow is for video. Yellow need to be connect to yellow port on TV and DVD player
2. 5 wires. Again red and white are for audio. And there is another red plus green and blue. Those 3 are for video and have to be connected to corresponding ports on TV and pkayer. Make sure you don't mix up red wires
If possible use a AV SCART connection lead as you get audio & video! If you want to use the phono connection you need to connect all 3 red/white/yellow to the TV and the VCR/DVD! Red & white are audio, yellow video!
Okay- the three cables (red, white, and yellow) are called RCA plug connectors. They are commonly used to carry audio and video signals.
Plug them into your Xbox according to the color codes- red cable connector to the red socket (jacks); then white to white, and yellow to yellow.
Now connect these leads to the RCA input jacks in the back of your t.v. - maintaining the same color code connections (red to red; white to white, and yellow to yellow)
The RCA input jacks on your t.v. should be labeled with an input number, to distinguish itself from the other inputs, like HDMI, S-Video, and such.
After plugging in your Xbox to the wall outlet or surge strip, turn it on.
Turn your t.v. set on.
With the remote control that came with your t.v. set, open the menu bar, scroll to... and open the "External Output" menu.
You should see a list of [however many] inputs your particular t.v has. Scroll to the input number that the 3 RCA cables are attached to, and press that number as the default video screen.
Exit the prompts and your Xbox video screen should be displayed.
hi that"s easy thing. first connect rca wire red white yellow to dvd hook up same colour red white & yellow female rca connection. then use another rca wire connect to your tv be video input in yellow one . red & white be sound input - red to red . white to white. just that. good luck!!
You have to connect the wire that has 3 separate wires at the end into your television according to the color. Plug the red wire into the red slot, yellow in the yellow and white in the white. You will then have to take the other end of the wire and plug it into the back of your playstation. Also, make sure to plug your playstation into the electrical outlet.
You have to option in LCD Source In-Put.All LCD Have this In-Put Com posit-Yellow/Red/White (AV) In LCD Select AV Mode After That Connect Yellow /Red/White as per color pin given in your LCD. Do you have a newer TV or a older one lets start with a newer models does your tv have 3 or more jacks on the back or front you should see a RED, YELLOW and WHITE if you have a HDTV you should see more. (LETS HOOK UP) Did your DVD/VCR come with a cables if not you will need to buy at least 2 they are called RCA cables Lets start with the dvd/vcr combo on the back you should see a (LINE OUT) this is where playback or your picture and sound come out. On the back of the TV you should see a (LINE IN) this is where you plug it in to. RED goes to RED, WHITE goes to WHITE and YELLOW goes to YELLOW. To Record you will need to hook up the line in on your combo and the line out to your tv. ( IF YOU HAVE AN OLDER T.V WITH NONE OF THOSE JACKS ) you will need to buy a RF- MODULATOR the are cheap it is a box that let you hook a cable wire to a little box and the RCA jacks to you combo and you will turn your tv to channel 3 or 4
good day, if youre saying that you program the DVD to work on channel 2 or 4 does it mean you convert the signal of your dvd player from A/V output to RF out?
because the simpliest way to connect your DVD player to TV screen is by using RCA cable ( 3 wired cable being color marked as yellow/red/white) yellow = video red and white = audio
the connection would be: from dvd back part you'll see colored socket yello/red and white. connect the RCA to those socket following the same color .
and from the TV screen there should be A/V input socket. can be locate at the BACK/Side or FRONT of the screen marked as "INPUT" ( AV1, AV2,AV3 if multiple inputs). Then select which input you want to place your DVD player ex.AV1 (from AV1 there will be 3 scoket in a row, yellow/red/white)
Connect the other end of your RCA cable following the same color code to TV "AV1 INPUT" yellow = yello/red =red/white=white. then from the remote commander of your TV screen locate a button marked as "TV/AV" or "A/V" press this button until the screen display switch to AV1.
