Taxi almost 95% from the fuse block. Do it right, like Clint says above. Wire to the battery direct, BUT remember to turn the radio off. Sometimes we wire a countdown timer into the wiring so the vehicle will not have a dead battery over a weekend.

Usually from the battery, but it all depends on the installer. Most of these istalls have been poorly done by people that don't have a clue. ower should be taken directly from the battery with a fuse at the battery terminal. This will reduce electrical noise heard on the radio.
