The foot control on my husqvarna 545 viking sewing machine quit working. What's going on?

First not familiar with exact product , however troubleshooting is common.
This is if pedal can be unplugged and you have access to volt meter (these are cheap enough under $20 and have other uses to support purchase) , set meter to measure continuity, set meter to lowest ohms to start. Before using on pedal touch the red and black leads together, touching the result should be zero on meter, not touching infinity or blank. Connect leads in various manners to the pins or sockets move pedal. If your meter reads a high number while moving pedal you have an open circuit.
If you see the meter fluctuate as you depress pedal that would be expected ( normal) but then when fully depressed go high ( open) your pedal switch is faulty. The variation in resistance as you push pedal slowly is what varies the speed.

Hai I bought kenmore before 2yrs .At that time I was in Us .Later in 2009 feb we shifted 2 India .Now I am living in Chennai,Tamil nadu.Because of volts problem unable 2 work here. What 2 do? should I get...

So your machine is designed and manufactured for 110 volts but India operates on 220 volta at 50 cycles per second. So you will need a voltage converter as well as a plug adapter.

There are three types of Voltage converters:

Resistor-network converters
This type of converter usually supports approximately 50 -1600 Watts. They are lightweight. You can easily use this converter for high-wattage electrical appliances like hair dryers and irons. But, you can use them for short periods only and they are not ideal for digital devices.

Transformers
Transformers support low watt rating, around 50 - 100 Watts. Generally, you can use them continuously. Also, they provide better electricity for low wattage appliances like battery chargers, radios, laptop computers, cameras, mp3 players and camcorders. Their drawback is the low wattage and heavy weight.

Combination converters
Combination converters are also manufactured by some companies. They are a combination of a resistor network and a transformer in the same package. You can easily switch between the two modes. If you need both types of converters, then it is better to buy this combination converter.

So you should check the model plate on your machine and see what the wattage it draws are to ensure you are using the corect type of converter.

I am trying to use the two-thread converter, but are unsure as to where to place the threads. The manual has no illustration showing the converter and threads. Any assistance would be great.

If you know how to install the converter, the rest will take care of itself. Thread the lower looper as you normally would. When you rotate the handwheel through a revolution you should see the upper looper pick up the lower looper thread where the converter meets it. It will then be carried up to the needles.

I have an Esante ESE2. Is there a way to get a computer image

you need software to trace/convert the image to vector and then to .pes and then you will need a blank (compatible brother/babylock) card and card reader box to transfer the file to and insert the card into the machine to emborider it.

If yo need images converted email me the image and i can convert it to an embrodery file for small fee.

hope this helps.

Converting a .jpeg into a file that can be used to embroider

you may need to convert files to bit map (bmp)
if bmp doesn't work you can find lots of free downloadable programes that will allow you to convert your jpeg/gif files into other forms. Play with the convertions and you should find one that can be read by your machine. All software you would require should have come with your machine.
